If you've been following along on our Facebook page, you'll have already heard plenty about this. As summer sets in, it's time for another contest. With a whole new region to explore, it's time once again for Psypoke Idol!
649 Pokemon just wasn't enough though. We've included alternate forms for Pokemon where the sprite actually changes between forms, and have come up with a list of 729 Pokemon.
Over the next 9 weeks, you'll help narrow that down to under 300 for the second round. From there, 5 weeks of voting will narrow down the list to 100. The month-long semi-finals will give us our top 25 Pokemon, from which only one will emerge victorious.
When voting for Psypoke Idol, you'll rank each of the Pokemon in the current group on a scale from 1 to 5 stars. You don't have to vote for every Pokemon each time (if you don't vote for a Pokemon, it has no effect on that Pokemon's score), and the top performers each week move on to the next round.
New groups start each week, so keep checking back to vote for your favorites! Who do you want to win? Who do you think will end up winning? Who's your favorite in the first group?
Scrafty and Scraggy and definitely the worst pokemon EVER, and yes, i remembered dunsparce. Bulbasaur, Jolteon, Empoleon and Clefairy were may favourites from there. I reckon the winner will be Lugia, Chandelure, Zekrom, Espeon, Bidoof (pity) or Dragonite :D
MANTINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was one of the first ones that made me honestly wish on every falling star I saw that Pokemon were real. I love it so much, you guys don't even know.
Hey Frost on my pokemon white when I got 31 pokemon and two badges I called Prof. Juniper (just out of boredom) on my Xtransceiver and she told me to come to her lab to give me something important. I went there and she gave me a TM54 - False Swipe. Just wanted to point this out in case you wanted to include it in your walkthrough. Good luck with the rest of your work :D
@damaia - Just so you know you have supporters, I wouldn't mind Sandshrew or Sandslash winning either. ;)

I know that you guys got annoyed by how much this question was asked last contest, so I'll put it here for what looks to be the first time. How did you guys get to 729?
I actually did some calculations, and I only came up with 717. That being said, you mention alternate sprites, and there are a couple of Gen V Pokes that have different sprites for male/female (Unfezant and Jellicent leap to mind) but what are the others?
The only alternate forms that we didn't include are all 4 billion Spinda for obvious reasons.

@Frost Genesect has four additional sprites? How come Psypoke doesn't have information on them?
The rest make sense, thanks for the clarification. Except for Arceus, because of the ????? type. (Unless the plate is only theoretical therefore it has no game sprite...)
A ??? plate never existed, and neither does ??? Arceus's sprite anymore.
The Genesect forms aren't really forms. The little disc on its back changes color depending on whatever disc it's holding as its item. But, hey, we needed those four fodder Genesect to have the nice even number to split among the groups.
You ought to have a Shiny Pokemon "Idol" contest, for finding out which shiny Pokemon is best-looking compared to the regular colours. :) Ho-oh for the win!
As for this contest... go, Braviary. GO, BRAVIARY!!
