I bought Black. Things I'm enjoying:

-Mostly thus far, this Gen is an aesthetic boost over Gen 4. The graphics are very pretty overall, and I like the addition of battle animation.

-The PC within the game is much more user-friendly and intuitive.

-TMs can be used more than once. Hallelujah!

-More types are available earlier in these games, and the variation in available pokemon is much higher than earlier versions (or at least it seems that way). I have _options_, for pete's sake, and I'm only on badge number two.

-Tabunne/Audino is adorable. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Things I'm questioning the wisdom on:

-Why for the love of all things holy have we gone _back_ to having to hold B to run?

-The HP bar is a bit wonky and sometimes hard to see.

-"My" pokemon look really pixellated and a bit lame during those otherwise fancy battle sequences.

-The carrying bag has gone back to fewer compartments and consequently has gone back to being

I LOVE White so far. I pre-ordered, and went as soon as I could Sunday. (After church OF COURSE) My favorite parts so far, are the triple battles, and new Pokemon. But I HATE ALL the rival battles. Other than that, I can't put it down! Also, I'm going to the Mall-Tour this weekend. SNIVY FOREVER!

I got White. I've just started, but so far I like what I see both in terms of graphics, originality, and Pokémon. I've been playing ever since Blue, and so am thoroughly pleased with this new version :)

Just beat it recently!
It is good that Pokemon names are not capitalized by default,(Wild POKEMON appeared!) However,
transfered Pokemon stay capitalized...

I'm so glad the Forums are back on. I picked Tepig in my White, and he's already an Emboar after playing for only a few days.

I currently own White, and have 4 badges. Is the Entralink fully functional? wasn't working for my friend and I.

I just got White. I haven't played it much, but so far (like every other Pokemon game) I love it!

Important news: My Pokemon in White have Pokerus! This happened while battling at Route 6.

oh my god i want this game soooo bad! iwanna get black, but i don't have enough money :P

@Pansage94 dude, i used to think the pokerus was bad, because in my emerald, imy pokemon had it, and im all like
"no! they are alll gonna die!!"

I beat the game the day I got it. It was enjoyable. I kept my Snivy a Snivy, same with my Tepig. (I chose Tepig, then traded with a friend, restarted my game and traded Tepig back.) ^_^

I know this isn't relevant, but, I FOUND A SHINY KOFFING AT THE TEAM ROCKET HIDEOUT IN HEART GOLD! However, BIG MISTAKE to send out Bellsprout when I should have caught it with a Quick Ball.

@Royinator123 Not true about dying Pokemon. It is good for them, even when the Pokerus is gone.

It would be nice if I had a Shiny Dragonite with Extermespeed in Pokemon Heart Gold, wouldn't it? I now have 7 badges. I am going to catch a Swinub and raise it all the way to a Mamoswine.
