The Global Link and Dream World officially retain their names, while the High Link has become the Entralink, and the videophone has been dubbed the Xtranceiver.
Speaking of the Dream World, an interview with the American localization coordinator has revealed that the Dream World feature will be launching after the initial game release, to help prevent the server overloads that happened with the Japanese release last fall.
Lastly, the Official Nintendo Magazine UK has posted a video of the first Gym Battle - Striaton City, home of the Trio Badge. The Gym Leaders are Cilan (grass), Chili (fire), and Cress (water). Each of them will battle with a Lillipup. It also confirms that Cress uses a Panpour, a Pokemon that will make use of the move Work Up to buff its attacks.
Only a few short weeks remain until the English release of Black and White. What are your thoughts so far?
Hey to: Jigglypuff, since you seem to be posting these news and such, there is a video on youtube that shows all the english names for the 5th generation of pokemon. Now you can update your psydex with the english names. The video is Pokemon Black and White English names revealed! The uploader is PokemonDbNet. Thought you should check it out.
How surprising, Lillipup. Like the previous revealings of new names, again it's exactly as on the leaked list of 1-153.
If the simpler ones are getting revealed as being correct, then what are the odds for stuff like Elgyem being made up then? Does anyone still seriously believe the leaked list is fake?
My guess on the next revealed names: -Purrloin -Roggenrola -Venipede -Cottonee and Petilil the grass duo -Basculin and Emolga haven't been revealed yet too right? -and its slowly getting time for the starter evolutions: Servine, Pignite and Dewott
@Wesmester The video was made from a leaked list of the names weeks ago.
Psypokes won't update any names that aren't officially revealed. Even though it is glaringly obvious the list is real, since this is the 4th news revealing names after the list here.
Mitja: Again, it's not a matter of believing the list is fake, but that we have to keep to our own standards and not just blindly post a list that came from an unofficial site/source.
It's like judging a court case: although the circumstantial evidence might point to those being the right names, we need to be sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are before we put them in the database.
