Shudo-san hadn't written for the anime in several years, and he had only written about a dozen episodes for it altogether, so there's nobody to replace.

@patrickpokeman44 - I didn't find either one better than the other throughout gameplay, but HG had Growlithe, so yeah... ;)

@frenchhorn95 but SS had the beastly lugia.vulpix is exclusive to SS too,vulpix and growlithe are both good.i think growlithe and arcanine may be a little stronger statwise than ninetails and vulpix,but vulpix and ninetails can easily confuse and burn oponents.they may be tied altogether, ninetails being more strategic ,and arcanine has good strength.arcanine is epic looking, but i like ninetails's apearence better.i love foxes, and ninetails has been one of my favorite pokemon for a long time.i prefer SS,although i was originally going to get HG because i used to like it better. i then searched online to see which legendary was better, lugia exclusive to ss or ho-oh exclusive to hg.they say lugia is better,and i noticed lugia is the mascot to psypoke.im not going to think like that on black and white,im choosing who i want right away.im getting reshiram with the starter mijimaru.i might get both games though,then ill get zekrom with tsutajaa.(i talk to much)

@griffinwolf - First of all, when it comes to Pokemon, there is no talking too much. ;) And I agree, Lugia is much better than Ho-oh, but you can get both in both games, so I didn't worry much over that. Besides, I don't really care for battling with legendaries, though, I do make an exception for Giratina... As for Growlithe and Vulpix, I actually traded Vulpix over and used it in my team rather than Growlithe just because it has a larger variety of attacks. But I will always remain loyal to Growlithe because of a Pokemon card where it was all cute and curled up in a ball. :) Oh, and as for Black and White, I'll be getting Mijumaru on version White, so Zekrom? And yes, I do realize I might have spelled those wrong and matched the mascot with the wrong version.

@frenchhorn95 Nope. Zekrom is in White, which is the reason I am getting Black.

I dont think that dream world art is very good :S it makes it look like the pokemon is on an episode of the simpsons :L

@SSJGoten i really like the dream world art i was amazed.the only bad thing is sometimes the pokemon is in a bad stance or it looks wierd or something.

@frenchhorn95 hey i used arcanine in platinum because they gave him kickass moves and he was beast. extremespeed is awesome and i taught the thing dragon pulse.well anyway i just wanted to bring ninetails in this cause its my fav and sadly, ninetails doesnt get the attention it deserves like arcanine does. even i am liking arcanine more than ninetails sometimes. ninetails will still be my favorite. and im glad to hear every once in awhile someone spotting ninetails or vulpix and giving it a compliment. so...yeah im happy you respect ninetails (,,(').('),,) oh yeah yog was saying nope to ensure you didnt get the black and white mascots mixed up a.k.a. , you: i might have matched the mascot with the wrong version yog: nope your right! zekrom IS in white, but i prefer reshiram so im getting black.
