Jesse, James, and Meowth are back with a new style and a new mission - take over the Isshu region. Of course in true Team Rocket fashion, they're unlikely to have much of a plan to carry out Giovanni's orders. Giovanni himself also sports a new character design, so he may have a bit more of a screen presence in the new series.
Those of you interested in competitive battling may remember that we recently partnered with Zelda Informer because of their Pokemon tournament. You can read more about the tournament and sign up via the above link to their Pokemon forum. A quick overview of the tournament:
The League currently has eight Gym Leaders for participants to challenge for their badges. Once participants win all eight, they have the chance to challenge the Elite Four. If they're able to defeat all of the Elites, they will either become the first Champion or get to challenge the current Champion. If they are able to defeat the Champion, they will take over the roll as Champion. Defeated Champions return to the beginning of the Elite Four Challenge.
So, what do you think of Team Rocket's new black uniforms? And what about Giovanni's new military-inspired look? Should Giovanni be a more prominent character in the anime? And are you interested in competitive battling? Going to sign up for Zelda Informer's tournament?
I think I liked the white uniforms better. I just wonder why they decided to give them a "makeover" and only change the colour and keep the (pretty much) same outfit...Couldn't they have at least changed how they dressed?
@JolteonShock I do like the black uniforms but I'm worried if they tried to do too much of a makeover my darling James would end up with a cerulean blue bowl cut, a bad hoodie/apron and silver platform boots, ? la Team Galasma.
don't have WiFi connection yet, so I'm out. And I probably won't join if I get connection anyway since I had to restart my game and I am only working on my 5th badge in the game.
I would love for Giovanni to get some more screen time, he's always been my favorite character, and the new outfits for the three of them look great. This new information makes me much more excited for Best Wishes :D
The new outfits are pretty stupid because, if they were going to change their costumes after thirteen years, they could have done something more original than a pallet swap. At the same time, I don't understand how anybody can be outraged over this - they're the same costumes as ever, only dark gray now.
