GPCT Round 2-1 Results [permalink]

Update: September 2010's Corocoro continues to leak. See the post below this one for more. Voting for the first group of round two has concluded, and Cynthia defeated her four opponents Steven, Giovanni, Silver and Morty to advance to the semifinals. 1. Cynthia -- 6539 votes (32.66%) 2. Steven -- 5640 votes (28.17%) 3. Giovanni -- 3328 votes (16.62%) 4. Silver -- 3090 votes (15.43%) 5. Morty -- 1414 votes (7.06%) Because we added voting to the top of the main page, this was by far the most successful round of any of our voting competitions, clocking in nearly as many votes as the entirety of Psypoke Idol 2 in one week. You can discuss the contest in the thread on our forums, and voting for the second group of round two is now underway. This week, we have Blue, Brock, Ethan, James and Misty up for voting. Vote for your FAVORITE!

Thank god Cynthia advanced. Otherwise there would be NO females in the semifinals because the visitors of this site think girls have cooties.

The outcome of that round was almost exactly what I expected. I wasn't sure if Cynthia would beat Steven, though. I'm not surprised with Morty's place; it was pretty obvious that he would lose.

@Frost Misty still has a chance, being Cynthia is not the only girl to make it that far. I also disliked Cynthia she gets annoying. ------------- However I have noticed a recurring problem with the vote thing showing back up at the top of the site as if I hadn't voted when entering the site a couple of days later.
