@Frost What you mean with borderline-racist comment? :x And I know that we don't know the english names but I'm getting annoyed of some much japanese names o.O
Well what do you expect? The games are made in Japan first and none of these Pokemon are even officially revealed outside of Japan yet except for Reshiram and Zekrom. Why do the Japanese names "annoy" you so much? These are the original names for all of these Pokemon no matter what they're called outside of Japan. You really don't see why I'm claiming your apparent disgust toward Japanese names could be seen as racist, even though it's not meant to be?
Hmph...STOP WOTH MORE POKEMON. Seriosly. They should've stopped at 20. Then again, if thers's nore than the usual 150(ish) new pokemon then i suppose having this many shown would be okay. And i think we should get some English names revealed >: It would be good to know.
I'm really excited to finally get to see all of the new pokemon that are comin out. What number do you think they will make it up to? 550? 580? 600?? haha i must say, i'm liking the newish feel to this batch so far! what do you guys think?
@ Paulo26 Dont worry about that racism thing. Your comment was clearly not racist or boarderline racist. Its a stretch to say you were demonstrating "disgust" toward the japanese language. Annoyed and disgust are very different feelings. And even if your not fond of the japanese language, racism is characterized as the hatred or intolerance of a RACE, or the belief that one's race is superior to anothers. Disliking/being annoyed by a language does not make someone a racist. According to frost, I would be a racist since I think the chinese language sounds annoying, except that my best friend is Chinese. Some people are just very sensitive about racial issues and are compelled to see racism were it does not exist.
Uh huh. And if I, as a white person, said "The way black people talk annoys me," people would be on my ass so fast for being "racist," so I don't see how saying "Japanese names annoy me" is any different.
Everyone gots diferent opinions ok? ... You think I'm racist and StayByu don't so who cares? You care? I don't. And thank you StayByu for defending me >_>
No, I don't think you're racist and I never said that. At worst I said that you made a statement that could be INTERPRETED AS racist. There is a huge difference.
Ya ok, I came down a bit hard on Frost for that. The suggestion that what Paulo said could be racist just got to me. I had too much coffee...
Anyway back to pokemon. Have you seen that scan that shows the in-game map? It looks like the routes run in a symmetrical diamond-like fashion. The newest pokes make me feel better. That previous batch of pokes worried me a bit. My favorite is Kibago, and the Primape body/zubat wings one with the big nose/eye in the middle of its head is my least favorite. Oh, and the little squirrel guy needs eye drops.
I think Rankurusu the Amplification Pokemon looks a bit like an X-rayed creature, with its see-through green flesh and clearly visible bones... that could be its origin. Just a suggestion. ;)
Mamanbuo is an evolution of luvdisc, the back sprite looks about the same and if its not an evolution then its a counterpart to it (I don't really see the reason for this because luvdisc is pretty much ignored, well at least I think so.) And whats with the hand/wings/fins?
I've noticed that every time a new generation comes out there's at least 100 new pokemon. So far gen. V has got 41 or 42 pokemon revealed and there's barely a month left till the japanese realese
