Black & White Release, HGSS Videos, Brand New Game [permalink]

Let's start with the news from Japan. First off, Pokemon Black and White now have a concrete release date of September 18th, 2010 in Japan. We couldn't have picked a better date ourselves.
We also have some clarification on exactly what Zoroark's Illusion ability will do. When sent into battle, Zoroark will take on the name and sprite of another Pokemon in your party. Most likely this would be the next Pokemon in the list who has not fainted, but all we know for certain at this time is that if Zoroark is the party leader, it will masquerade as the second Pokemon in the party when sent into battle.
In addition, the final Pokewalker Route, Amity Meadow will be available to anyone attending the Japan Railway's expo next month. There is no word yet on any availability outside of Japan.
While we're on Nintendo Events, many thanks to our visitors from around the world for confirming that the Summer 2010 Jirachi available over Wifi and promoted in Europe is available in both North America and Australia as well.
Up next, I've added two more HeartGold and SoulSilver Videos - Elite Four Bruno and Karen. You can, of course, find them on our YouTube Channel as well.
Finally, I'm happy to announce the launch of a brand new game here at Psypoke. This is a simple game integrated into our whole website for anyone who has registered in the Forums to play. We call it Psyfari Zone.
The game is very simple - every time you load a page on the site (not including the forums) there is a small chance that a Pokemon may float in from off screen. Your cursor will change to a Poke Ball to alert you to this. Simply click on the Pokemon to capture it. You must be a member of our Forums for Pokemon to appear. You must also be logged in when browsing the site. Once captured, the same Pokemon will not appear again, so you won't double up. Lastly, in contrast to other such games, Pokemon will not appear on specific pages - any page may result in any Pokemon at any time.
There are 40 different Pokemon you can catch, chosen from the staff's favorites, popular Psychic-types, and the Starters. You can check your progress and see who has the most on the Psyfari Zone page, or if you'd rather not play you can also opt out.
