HGSS Unleashed, Gen V Tidbits, and Damage Calculator Plugging[permalink]

Pokemon Sunday information has been added below, even though this update is dated as May 13th. Also, the official Japanese Pokemon site has updated with several new Black/White screenshots.
Multiple sites across the internet are saying that the names of the starters rumored to be Tsutaaja (Grass), Pokabu (Fire) and Mijumaru (Water), but we're waiting for this weekend's episode of Pokemon Sunday to see if this is accurate. Pokemon Sunday did indeed confirm these names are accurate. Also, a few new gameplay videos were shown and the Pokemon now have animations when they are idle during battles. Best of all, moronic NPCs will finally walk AROUND you instead of becoming road blocks!
Other tidbits revealed since yesterday's update are: the main characters are bit older than previous ones; Zoroark will be available after trading one of the shiny Legendary Beasts to Black and White, which was also confirmed on Pokemon Sunday; Zoroark's ability, Illusion, gives it the appearance of other Pokemon; and Zoroark has two known new attacks. One is Trickery, which damages based on the opponent's stats, and the other is Claw Sharpen, which raises the user's Attack and Accuracy. Pokemon Sunday also confirmed that Zoroark retains its Dark-type when under the illusion of another Pokemon, as Raikou was seen using Aura Sphere against Zoroark as an Entei.
In the meantime, the newest English TCG expansion, called HGSS Unleashed, was released yesterday and, as usual, I've transcribed the set and added them to the TCG section. The set comes from multiple different Japanese decks and sets, including the Japanese HGSS set, the Leafeon VS Metagross deck, the Battle Starter Decks and the last Japanese expansion (Revived Legends). I personally think it's a disappointing, filler set with a lot of bad 3D artwork overall. I also updated the HGSS Black Star Promos list.
Also, don't forget about the updates and corrections made to the Damage Calculator! A staff member worked very hard on it and it was lost in the shuffle due to the starters being revealed yesterday.
I'm sorry all of your work got lost in the new starters' discussion. I think it's safe to say that all users and fans of the page appreciate your hard work. I must admit that I haven't been using the damage calculator that much but I'm glad that there is an updated version available when I really need it. Good work guys!
There are still bugs in the Damage Calculator. Like when you wanted to add Flower Gift to Pokemon like Typhplosion and use Flare Blitz on a Parasect, it didn't take account of that ability other than with Cherrim. I hope the staff can take of this problem. Thank you for fixing it, sir. Also, there's Clamperl's Deepseatooth, which also doesn't seem to properly working, and Plusle and Minun's abilities.
i like the damage calculator a lot. it's a very useful tool. and, can you guys get the new videos and screenshots up on the site?? or is there a copyrights issue?? just thinking it would be more convenient (even though i've already seen some of them...)
