well.. it is a short clip so it's difficult to judge by now but the idea of the gameplay seems great... I really hope they can make it work..

The people kind creeped me out. The only one who looked normal ws the Lucario. Anyways, this looks so different from the originl Red and Blue. It looks like pokemon but t the same time, doesn't.

they made the citys so advance but the people r almost the same as red and blue

It looks almost exactly like Diamond and Pearl but the 3D is slightly less embarrassing. I'm not impressed so far.

I dont know whether the 3D is better or worse, it seems sorta distracting.

the backround and buildings are almost real looking while the pokecenter and people are the same looking as DPP and HHSS

I dont know if I like it, it seems like a total rip-off, I mean we are So used to 3-d then they throw Diamond and Pearl's view in and I was like, Cool, Its still mostly 2D!

The dialog and the text on screen are a lot of the same: "wow," "cool," "look at the buildings," "it's moving," and the like. No real clues, just overly excited reactions.

LMAO!!! That Vid was SO FUNNY!! Those guys were so overly excited... and the macots!! LOL!!! But.. I guess 3D in Pokemon is kind of cool/lame?... Honestly if you ask me... it looks just plain stupid when a 2D character is walking in a 3D circle.. xD

I have to agree that we still are going to buy it. But the battles SO FAR are not like Stadium. Check the previous updates, but it would be great if it was!

Interesting, but not much more than that... I don't actually like it much.

Why keep the 2D character sprite if you're going to make these kinds of 3D perspectives? It doesn't make sense...

I think we're all judging this a little too fast. I mean, it was just a guy walking around in a circle. Yes, I agree with the whole 2D sprite, 3D world thing, but, give 'em a break. They showed, what like, 20 seconds of a dude walking in a circle.

emerald is right, not just that but it was a pretty big town, smaller towns will probably be just like gen 1-4. just look at the other screenshots!

I think I'm just going to stop paying attention to any leaks until a week before the release.
They NEVER give us enough to make accurate judgments.
I know I'm going to enjoy it, though.
Personally, I don't play Pokemon for the graphics.
And I couldn't give a crap less if they use the same engine as DPPt/HGSS,
because they're still introducing new features, moves and Pokemon; and those are all I really care about.

is it me or are Pokemon games getting worse and worse? I would like Pokemon to re-release original Red, Blue and Yellow and Gameboy Colours/Advances only for a year or so kids in this generation can see that Pokemon never was this crappy and 3D-ish

RBY is not a good game in comparison to any of the later Generations. Even GSC is a massive improvement over it. I recommended taking off your nostalgia goggles.

I think its sorta like a pyramid. AT one point its the top, the best, and then it ll comes down.
