is there any way to get the secret key for the rotom forms if i missed it? because the wfc mystery gift expired for it

Jigglypuff: That is slightly wrong. After the Cresselia event, you bring the Member Card to the inn with the locked door (above the Canalave Pokemart) and go in, a guy makes you get in bed, and you fall asleep and wake up on New Moon Island.

Jigglypuff: No, you do NOT hop on the ferry. You can use it to get back to New Moon Island after catching (or defeating/running away from) Darkrai, but to get there originally you fall asleep in the Harbor Inn and wake up there. Without taking the ferry.

Of course. You walk into the Harbor Inn, the place of rest for sailors, right next to the ferry, and then just MAGICALLY end up on an island. There was totally no ferry involved. -.-;

Jigglypuff: There is NO ferry involved. The boat is there so you can't surf away into a Mystery Zone. If you do the event, after doing whatever to Darkrai you wake up in the bed and it says "'Name' woke up!" or something like that.

i just caught darkrai. Jigglypuff: you go inside the lodge above the pokemon center. NOT taking the ferry

swampert_rox: I didn't know if you missed a Wi-fi event you could have a friend give the event to you. Is it possible to do this over Wi-fi? If so i would greatly appreciate it if someone could send me the Shaymin event to me.

yeah i was wondering if maybe i could get the shaymin event too. i dont have any way of getting to events so the wifi thing is really useful(yeah i got darkrai) of and if anyone wants a lv.50 phione contact me.

whyte rabbit: check these 3 things. 1) are you hooked up to the internet? 2) are you using WPA instead of WEP? 3) are you clicking "GET VIA NINTENDO WFC" inside the mystery gift?

joker: could you tell me how to check wpa/wep? i tried looking it up but i didnt find anything that helped ^^'

whyte rabbit: if your error message says "no Mystery Gift to be found", then your Wi-Fi connection is fine. It must be that you haven't progressed far enough through the game to receive the Gift.

My brother couldn't receive it, either, and he was using the same connection as me. I received the Member's Card successfully, but I already had the National Dex.

i got the darkai i think the diffrence from th darkai in diamond and pearl can not learn spaciel rend and roar of time and the darkai in pokemonplatinum could learn roar of time and spaciel rend if you dont caych and mess up i think if you beat the pokemon league again and go back too the island you could battle darkai again

The RoT/Spacial Rend Darkrai only applied to the Toys R Us Darkrai given out in May 2008. It does not apply to the Newmoon Island Darkrai in DP, and it shouldn't apply to the Newmoon Island Darkrai in Platinum.

As for the event, I haven't done it in Platinum yet, as I plan to IV-SR for a good one, but in Diamond, after receiving the Member Card (AR, yes), I just walked into the (previously locked) hotel and magically appeared on the island in my dreams. It should work the same way in Platinum. (Just checked with my friend. Yes, you do the same thing as in DP.)

I do know that AFTER you went to the island that way, you could just ferry there normally.

embirel: You can't give a f riend an event over Wi-fi. Only wireless. Also it can't be just any gift. The Secret Key is the only shareable one so far.

DarkAriados: You don't need the National Dex to get it. I could get non-Sinnoh event pokemon without National Dex.

Oh yeah swift13 as DNA said it can't learn those moves and you can only battle Darkrai again if you didn't catch it. If you didn't do that then when you wake up leave the Inn and enter again (you can only come back in if you haven't caught it) and the man will be there and it will happen again. You can keep doing it until its caught.

Question: Does anyone know if after battling Darkrai and not catching it you can take the ferry to New Moon and possibly battle it that way? Just wondering.

moonstruck: you don't need to beat the E4 to rebattle it, you can just go back there. I wanted to know if you could go there on the ferry INSTEAD of going to the inn and catch it that way anyways.

The Platinum Legendaries page hasn't been updated with info on the Member's Card yet...

lucaschristophr: its platinum only. As far as we know, there have not been, aren't, and wil never be any Wi-Fi events for DP.

you have to trade the platinum darkai to daimond and pearl plus if you do that darkai will can learn spaciel rend and roar of time

swift13: Sorry, but the Newmoon Island Darkrai doesn't learn Spacial Rend and Roar of Time. Those moves came with a different Darkrai that was given out in a previous event.
