Shaymin Event, Geekdom Celebrations [permalink]

I just want to remind all of you that this weekend is full of festivities. Happy Valentine's Day, happy Friday the 13th, and let's not forget the US Shaymin event that's finishing up tomorrow at Toys-R-Us stores. Lastly, at 3:31:30 PST (mere minutes from this post), we reach a milestone in the technological era; your computer will officially know the time as 1234567890. So give your computer a hug this Valentine's Day. And make sure you grab a Shaymin while you still can.

I live in the Uk and i know that this is USA you're talking about. But do you know if there is any confirmed date for us british? And um, hi i'm new here.

Well, hi there Sonicrees.

There isn't any confirmed date for a UK Shaymin event yet. If there is one (and I think there might be since there are more non-US/Japan events going on lately), I think it will come around the beginning of May, possibly later, because Europe's Platinum release date is May 22nd.

I haven't heard tell of any other events recently besides Shaymin and Regigigas, so I'm pretty sure there is no slated date for a UK event yet. I think it'll come along soon though.

Darn, I totally missed it! It ended the day before I got my cat, and while I was going to the movies with my friends on friday and saturday, I could have gotten it on D&P! GRRR!

I missed it, too!!! Drat! Nuts! Geez Louise! And other geeky expletives! I get really involved in Pokemon for a few months... then on to other games for a few months. By the time I get back, I realize I've missed three events! Drat! Nuts! Geez Louise! Where can I "subscribe" to some site or service that will EMAIL me when a US event is scheduled?
