And now in response to my last update, I DO have some news on Platinum. As had been speculated for a while, Shaymin does have an alternate forme, the Sky Forme. The Japanese publication Famitsu Magazine published a nice little two-page spread about Platinum, including some only slightly obstructed Sugimori art of Sky Forme Shaymin. There are a few other pictures from the spread as well on the Platinum page. In other news, GameStop is hosting a Pokemon giveaway of their own after the success of the one by Toys 'R' Us just a few short weeks ago. The weekends of June 20th-22nd and 27th-29th, at participating stores, you can bring in your DS, Diamond or Pearl, and get a special edition Deoxys. It comes with a Nevermeltice and the following moves: Psycho Boost Zap Cannon Iron Defense Extremespeed The only in-game requirement is that you have played the game long enough to have received your Pokedex. Check your local GameStop next time you're out and about to see if they're hosting the giveaway. Note that this Deoxys has moves from all of its formes. The GameStop promotional material shows an Attack Forme Deoxys. That's all for now. EDIT: I've added additional pictures to the Platinum page.

I checked with my local game stop, and they said that any location with a DS download station will be hosting the event. Just wanted to share the good news.

That's awesome! So pretty much every Gamestop is doing it. I really wanted a Deoxys.

I can't wait! Also, if Shaymin has a Sky Forme, it might actually haveimportance in Platinum, and you might not have to wait for the event! Yay!

This may seem harsh, but in my opinion Platinum is getting a little messed... My bets are that the originals will be better. It has some tihng better than Emerald's changes, but I doubt it'll be of the same quality. I'll probably stick with Pearl for a while.

Agreed with Blazikendude, and I can't wait for Platinum's release, but I already have a Deoxys from migrating it from my Emerald game, which has all the same moves. However, I do wonder why they put a NeverMeltIce on it, when no one really needs ot o.O

Thats the SKY form? o.0 I suppose those things on the head are the, uhh, wings. The NMI is to represent deoxys being frozen in space or something.
