POKEMON FIRE RED AND LEAF GREEN TRAINER TOWER

The Trainer Tower can be found be surfing north of Island #7. The idea is to get to the top of the tower as fast as you can by battling through eight levels of trainers. If you beat the time on the score board (It's just by the PokeCenter counter), you'll receive an item from the owner at the rooftop. This is endurance battling, so your Pokemon will not be healed in between battles, but you can use items. You are, however, able to return to the bottom floor and heal your Pokemon (and hence waste a lot of time), so it's advisable that you stock up on items at the Mart first. Your opponents' Pokemon will be the same level as the highest levelled Pokemon in your current party.

There are four modes to getting to the top, and as a consequence, different time targets. Each time you battle, you'll get the same set of trainers and Pokemon to fight.

Single Mode

Regular one-on-one battling. Each trainer has two Pokemon. You get an Upgrade for winning.
