when i get to the ruins, there is a guy blocking the entrance, he says he cant figure out how to open the door. when i looked at the walkthrough, there is no mention of this fellow. what can i do to remove his annoying presence?

Have you beaten the rockets on 4 Island with Lorelei? I seem to think that might be the problem if you haven't done it yet.

It may be after you bet the Elite 4 a second time, but be careful the Elite 4 is stronger, and have a few different pokemon.
