Im just curious, do any of you find the pokemon from ru/sa that you raise in the colloseum are developing differently from the ones that you raise in the game pak? It seems as though the sapphire pokemon that I raise in the colloseum are stronger and almost more likely to respond the way I need them to.

This is what I do...

1.I give them vitamins

2.I give them pokeblocks

3.I give it a macho brace to hold

4.I trade it from sapphire to colloseum and battle it alongside a high level pokemon at area 6 or higher in the battle tower in story mode until it reaches level 20

5.I remove the macho brace and trade it back to sapphire

6.I get the ribbon from the lady in Slateport

7.I enter as many contests as I have moves for and get the ribbons from them (I have a Gyarados with 16 ribbons so far)

8.I trade the pokemon back to Colloseum and continue battlling it until it reaches the desired level

9.At the desired level, I trade it back to Sapphire and put it in a box in the pc for that particular level (lvl 50 or lvl 100)

It seems that the more I do this with care, the better the pokemon is. Even ones with lower HP or some other stat, they do seem to be stronger or at least luckier than pokemon I used to raise, even the ones I raised only in Sapphire.

It's strange because I always thought that pokemon that you raise from a trade were weaker. My luck has been especially good when playing against the computer, not so great when playing against a human, but it's improving there.

see the advanced trainer guide from gamefaqs if you want to know how to get strong pkmn. that really doesn't work v.well

pkblx: make it happy (countered by the fact that it will be traded and therefore nil happiness)and improve condition

you'll get a lot of good show pkmn, but nothing for battling

traded pkmn are not weaker

to quote someone: the more i practise, the luckier i get

EV training makes pkmn strong
