Ratatta? Yeah I think that was it. Yeah, definetly.
In gold/silver? I forget...
In Ruby/Sapphire it was wingull.
In FR/LG it was Nidoran (M)

The first I'd caught was actually a Pikachu. It was kind of weird, seeing as it was also the first wild Pokemon I'd faced in the game, and I wanted to fill up my Dex for once.

It's possible, but unlikely. Actually, I wanted to fill up my Dex, I just didn't look for any to do so. I found it strange myself, and I'd actually call it unlucky. But then again, that's me.
