It really depends on how many attacks you have that will be super effective, As well as how many cure items you have. Any where from 45+ should work. If your having trouble after that just train them up more.

A fellow Steelix fan ey? Im the Onix/Steelix king here at psypoke and ....................................

Well back to the topic.

Like pokeseeker said train them until their level feels right for you. Make sure you have a well rounded team.

For instance your Politoed has three water type moves which is bad for battling purpose's,. Try mixing up the move sets for your pokemon and finding your teams weeknesses.

Try looking at the battle chart and the standard moveset guides on the main site here at psypoke, you should get alot of information there,

REMEMBER: Look for your weeknesses, you have 2 water types, 2 psychic, and three week to ground type moves.

If you Need some good Steelix movesets PM me, remember if you have a question about Rock/fighting/steel type pokemon.......Im the man to ask.

Well anything over +40 I think will do if you stock up hyper/max potions and use super-effective attacks.
For Espeon, if its special attack is high, it will work well against the champion.
