Why didn't you put a "No Way" option? I mean, it WOULD be interesting to see a live action Pokemon film, but I don't see it happening ever.

That's just what I think.

I did put Impossible but for some reason it's not there. I'll put it in.

I put "Certain". Here's why I think it can. I think if "Bewitched" can be brought back from the grave and turned into a movie, I think Pokemon can become a live action movie. If they did make one, I'd be the first in line. :P

((Don't forget, there have been other video games that have been turned into live action movies, such as: Super Mario Bros., Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and many others. What's stopping Pokemon?))

It's possible, but I don't think it will happen. I think the Anime style will most likely always be what pokemon movies are done in. It would be cool though.....

I don't think such a thing will ever occur.

The charm (or one of the charms) of the pokemon franchise is partly the monsters appearance, If made to look realistic, even in CGI, they just would'nt have the same appeal.
Also trying to create anime style haircuts in real life looks hideous (just go to an anime cosplay convention and see for yourself)

On a side note however, there was rumor that there are a Dragonball and Sailormoon movies in the lineup for the live action treatment, but I still don't think that I would like to see a fur-rendered computerised pikachu spraying bolts-o-lighting from his cheeks.

Hmmmm... If they can do stuff like Godzilla, I don't see why they couldn't do Pokemon... But it would probably cost too much money and not enough of a money maker to ever happen.

Godzilla is one of the cheapest monster movie series ever made. The guy in rubber suit and mini model city special effects were high tech 50 YEARS AGO!

Honestly, I feel a live-action Pokemon flick would be a bad idea. Look again at the game-to-movie movies.

Super Mario Bros. was a good comedy flick, but deviated too much from the game storyline. It just was not good at representing the game at all.

Final Fantasy movie was nowhere near to what the game series is about. It was a CG Effects show with a same name.

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and Resident Evil are believable because the games are RPGs with no outrageously fantastical things that haven't already been done by many thriller films already. And they have a good deal of realism, which makes game to screen much easier.

Wrong Godzilla movie, he's talking about the one from 2000 staring mathew broderick. Which has a lot of CGI.

Pokemon should stay in the anime universe. It works best in there.
