As you might be able to already see, we've added a little bit more aesthetic value to the forums by adding Pokemon mini-sprites to represent each forum.
Coloured sprites mean the forum has new posts, greyed sprites mean the forum has no new posts.
In the case of Help, a Shiny Unown (coloured blue) means new posts and the normal Unown means no new posts
And In the case of T&A, a white Lugia means new posts whereas a grey Lugia means no new posts.

Personally I really like these, the Others were dull and boring, It's been time for a Change.
If you guys think these are a little boring, take a look at the old indicators listed on the bottom of the page.
If you guys still think these are boring, I can see if I can animate them to look more exciting.

Yes, these are quite cool. It'll take a me awhile to get used to, but all the same, nice work.

Very nice. I can't believe anybody could say these are boring. These ones add to Psypoke's personality. I say they are very nice, awesome job.

THANK YOU!!!!! I've been waiting for this moment to happen, and it finally has!(Now what will I do?) I think it'd be cool if they were animated.
Once again, THANK YOU!

i was thinkin, why not make em a little more theme oriented...
eg:
Announcements: Exploud
Music Discussion: Jigglypuff or just stay with Chimecho
Fan Art: Smeargle
Netbattle: Porygon2
Anime/Movies Discussion: Pikachu
Kanto Generation: Mew
Johto Generation: Celebi
Hoenn Generation: Jirachi
Kanto Generation Revisited: Mewtwo
anyway, you understand what im getting at?

While they do add a nice touch to the forums, it's a little hard on my eyes. I'm sure I'll get used to them, but at the moment, it's very hard to tell if some forums have new posts or not (T&A especially... though there's ALWAYS someone posting in there...)

Actually, now that I think of it, I agree with Jiggz. And I just don't like changes, so it will take me a long while to get use to it.

It's cool and everything but I preffered the old indicators, I think maybe the mini pokemon indicator thing should be our {pokemon} smilies, but I like the ones we have too.

Cool and pleasing to the eye, but I can't really tell which forums has new posts at a single glance. Don't worry I'll get used to it

Since this is Psypoke, all the icons are Psychic Pokemon, if anyone didn't know that.
It was odd at first, but it just needs some getting used to.

Animating these would be awesome, then I could really get in the mood for dancing!!

Cool. I kinda wish it was more obvious which places had new posts, but I'll get used to it. Also, I kinda agree with Lynx, even if it would stray away from psy types. Although I've always thought of {porygon 2} as a wannabe psy type. But thats a tale for another thread.

Excellent and easy-to-understand idea.
I didn't even know we HAD old indicators... wow...
I guess that in itself means this is a mucho good improvement! Nice!

Mewtwo and Jirachi are already used for Announcements and A&C.
As for the others, I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea to use Legendaries and a Couple others, I think it's fine right now how it is.
Plus they're doing an all Psychic pokes thing for the icons, so no Exploud, Pikachu, Porygon2 or Jigglypuff.
EDIT: Forgot one ]

Hippie Chick, first rule: don't post off topic. Click on the letters at the bottom of my post saying "PM" - that'll send a private message to me. I'll fill you in on how Psypoke works - we can't have you upsetting Amphy or the Mods now, can we?
