FIFA rankings are flawed and are a worthless statistic.

There is a HUGE difference in quality between the United States and countries ranked only one or two places above them.

Posting to agree. Also posting to tell the glory supporters to go away. I think this thread was made for proper football fans and not glory supporters jumping on the bandwagon.

Those boys in blue, chelsea, since I was born.

For countries, England of course.

For people ripping on USA, even though I'm not for them, they have and excellent team this year.

ok im gonna be REALLY biased on my MLS team, but the Houston Dynamo. i really think that if Bruce Arena would have put Brian Ching in a national game, he might have been a catalyst to a win, but thats my opinion

Bayern-Munich.

Barcelona and FC Chelsea are up there too.

i flat out hate David Beckham. Franz Beckenbauer > 3x David BEckham.

Pele is still the greatest player known to man.

Claudio Reyna deserved a better US showing in the Cup, but with a dumbass manager, what can you expect.

Personally, USA should look into getting Jurgei Klintzmann as manager (he lives in Cali, and played amateur ball under an assumed name lol) and for Germany the ONLY PLAYER NOT TO PLAY was their 3rd string keeper. Hows that for field time?

no, im not a soccer fan at all.

GO DYNAMO! #3 right now, but they're gonna kick ass after the all-star break.

Glad to see there's a large number of Reds fans on the forum.I support three different teams for three different reasons.

Team No.1: Liverpool FC were my first sporting love.Having watched them in the days of 95-96 I bore witness to Cream Suits and Collymore, as well as some amazing football.Kicked off my interest again in 2001 and they have been my glory  team ever since.Though under Houllier I wouldn't exactly classify them as such....

Team No.2:AC Parma, originally began supporting because of Lilian Thuram before he buggered off to Juventus, I support Parma with fanatical devotion despite the fact that we've been on a downward spiral ever since our Chairman was found guilty of embezzelment.Went to Milan with the soul purpouse of seeing them live against AC, but ended up with the home fans.I love them because i'm nuts and they are an excellent mid-table/relegation team. And thanks to this match fixing scandal we're in Europe once more!

Team No.3: Kingstonian FC.An semi-professional team that play in the Isthmian League Division One South(that's one of the lowest football leagues in England I think), were introduced to me by my football mad friend.I tag along with to matches due to the cheap cheap ticket prices and the fact that our away seats(or lack of them) are usually close enough to have a nice conversation with the opponents goalkeeper. However the club has had boardroom turmoil recentlyGood fun and the true meaning of football.
