ok i dunno if its been said, but in both rocket hideouts (Celedon and Saffron) there are tons of items all over the floor, my itemfinder just went nuts. i'm not sure about the 5 island warehouse yet.

I believe it's possible to get one through winning in the Battle Tower. I don't remember which style of battling it as though, if I find the link, I'll PM you with it.

It's much easier to Thief or Covet Metal Coats from Magnemites, like Benjamin said.

Some sort of update here, hence the double-post.
To get extra Sun Stones and Moon Stones in the game, look in this thread for more details: http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~psypoke/for ... php?t=4631

I never thought Nest Ball was actually in the game!

Magnemite's and Magneton's do not have Metal Coats in FRLG. The only two in those games are trainer tower and the Techtonix memorial.
Edit: I also discovered something today; Cycling road is covered with items, 5 in all. The way to get them is to (in case you didn't know this) hold down B, so you won't go downhill, and then do the normal routine for finding items. I think 2 were on the left path, one on the dirt path in the middle, one on the right path, and one on the combined path at the very bottom.

On treasure Beach (surf down from the one island dock) you can keep getting items. I go there everyday and get 2 ultra balls and a big pearl. Ya and in rocket hideout I searched in the boxes and found a few special pokeballs.

there's a hidden Max Potion in Silph Co., this is not mentioned in the list of Raichulatias
another hidden water stone in seafoam islands
another hidden thunderstone in power plant, in the room where zapdos lies
i hv found another moon stone (not mentioned in psypoke guide), it's located at the ground floor of the cinnabar mansion. it's in one of the rocks on the left side of the building (just near to entrance and to the left of those pillars on left side).
Edit from sN0w: Triple-post merged.

Well maybe you would like to share with us the locations of those items? Otherwise your post would be nothing more than words taking up bandwidth space (that's a nicer term for spam).

In FR/LG, R/B/Y, there is a Rare Candy in Cerulean City, go to the house with that guy who tells you about the 8 badges. Go through back door, and above the house to the right of the badges house, use itemfinder there and you will find a rare candy. I am not sure if there is one in G/S/C.
lol first post for me...

In Cerulian city (Misty's gym Town) I think that there is an item where that guy was above the houses in GSC and (i'm not shure) RBY.

Yes, there is a Thunderstone below and to right of where Zapdos stood. Stand right in front of the machine facing north and press A. It's there.
