Question regarding the Battle Pyramid

Can you switch the position of pokemon in your team during the challenge in the Battle Pyramid? I recently restarted my Emerald Game, so I no longer have access to the Battle Pyramid to check for myself, and it doesn't mention it on the main site.

Yes you can. It's like when you are walking in a cave - you can use items, switch place, etc.
I don't have the game anymore, but I remember switching the position of my sceptile.

Yes, you can switch places.
There is no leveling up in the pyramid, though, so the moveset you walk in with, the pokemon you walk in with, is set.
(No TMs either, so yes - you are kind of stuck with that moveset).
With the pyramid, you are best off with Pickup Linoone, Aromatherapy Blissey / Altaria (XD purified), and tanks. BIG RESTING TANKS.
I need to beat Emerald again, and get to the pyramid, now that I have most of the pokemon.
