Bill glared at Leo. "I've no doubt you will. But will you understand what's important?"
This kid... Doesn't he realize the whole idea behind this match? Does he only see it as a way to prove himself? I hope not...
Bill continued. "Snorlax. Now that's rare stuff. You're definitely a capable Pokemon trainer, no doubt." His face hardened. "But there are still some things you must understand. Tornadus, use Heat Wave!"
Tornadus flapped its wings, and a hot current blew through the stadium.

Crimson sat in the shadow of the interview room, simply observing. "This is just a formality, the real test is to see their potentials as trainers. To test their bond with their Pokemon.", he thought to himself.

Though he was still human, and Crimson still couldn't help but to automatically judge the young trainers before the Elites. Samuel seemed too timid and resentful, Crimson didn't see much potential working with him. Aaron was being devoured by his own demons, it was probably only a matter of time until he became just like Wolf. And then there was Leo; the youngest trainer out of them all. He was extremely high strung, causing Crimson to already feel like knocking him down a few pegs. Though he did bring a large amount of potential with him, something that Spence couldn't refuse. Crimson already knew Lucia so she was his best hope to recruit for his branch of Midnight.

------------
A figure sat in the highest branch of the tallest tree, binoculars zoomed in to the window of the interview room. "Well seems like the fabled Team Midnight is looking for fresh blood."

Her green cloak billowed as a strong wind blew. She lowered the binoculars, revealing a pair of deep gray eyes. "The room is too damn dark to see everyone's faces. Guess I'll have to crash this thing to get the information that I need."
------------
Crimson was standing beside Spence as he announced the battle portion of the test. He honestly wasn't that surprised as Leo called out he wanted to battle one of the Elites.

He made his way to call out but Bill beat him to the punch. Bill seems to be getting to do all the fun things lately.

However, Crimson was a little shocked that Bill would use Tornadus. He lightly touched one of his pokeballs, preparing if anything was to go wrong. Bill's tie to Tornadus wasn't strong enough yet and Crimson knew that if he lost control it would get very dangerous.

((Green won't be making her entrance just yet. But almost...))

((I think it's time for some more Night Stalker exposition.))
Once inside, Wolf rested in the cockpit. Within a minute, the squadron cut off their pursuit and a light flashed, indicating an incoming message.
"So, you insist on attacking us? Well, consider yourselves victims of your own disguise!" The transmission ended with the sound that indicates radio silence. Krysta yelled for Wolf, and he jumped.
-----
When Wolf walked into the cargo bay, he was immediately struck by a large palm. "Lairn, kill them!" a commander ordered, and Lairn obliged. "This is going to hurt."
Lairn started to go after Krysta, but what was met with Wolf's Distortion Blade instead. "I'm not sure if you seriously think this will harm me." Lairn said. At this moment, Wolf sized up his opponent. The man stood at least seven feet tall, and was brimming with strength. He had to weigh at least 300 pounds, and Wolf doubted there was any fat in that weight. "Yes... Open." Wolf seized the opportunity to strike while Lairn prepared to begin his assault. Lunging foward, Wolf caught Lairn in the neck with the opening of the blade and forced upwards, pinning him into the ceiling. Lairn grabbed onto the hilt and pushed towards Wolf, releasing himself. Lairn jabbed at Wolf, rarely connecting. Eventually, he cornered Wolf, only to be shot in the back.
The bullet didn't inflict as much harm on the brute as Krysta wanted it to; instead, it got Lairn's attention. With his back to Wolf, he walked towards Krysta, who threw down her gun and took out her tomahawks. "Sorry, but I'm afraid you can't be allowed to entertain us anymore." Wolf mumbled. His wounds were evident, and hurt as much as they were visible. With all his might, he gathered the strength and made his rush on Lairn. With accuracy, the jumpkick made contact between the shoulder blades and sent Lairn face down and out cold.
"And I'm assuming you're done back there. If anyone wants to know, we're over Tin Tower right now."

((Um... you do remember that this is a pokemon RP right Samurott? Instead of weapons, you should be focusing MORE on pokemon. To be honest Night Stalkers are conflicting with the story majorly in that regard... And Spence told Wolf to not confront enemy lol... And before you introduce him, no to another character unless you kill either Wolf, Root or Aaron off. TOO MANY. Edit: since dare said he'd be away, get aaron to fight crimson instead.))

Leo wiped himself of the sweat on his forhead only a Heat Wave could give him. There was no reason to worry about this guy and his second rate pokemon, not in Leo's mind. Leo had to beat Bill in this battle, he had to prove himself and show everyone that he was the best trainer...

"Heh, Heat Wave was your first mistake pal," Leo chuckled, "Crunchy's Thick Fat ability practically protects him from all hot and cold attacks! You can't be a very good trainer without knowing that! Crunchy's the best when it comes to fighting a legendary pokemon!" Leo grinned.

The Snorlax stood tall, it seems this generally lazy pokemon was ready for action, not bed.

"Crunchy, use Mega Punch!"

The Snorlax charged it's fist behind him, throwing it forward toward the Tornadus with incredible unstoppable force.

"Too bad, I expected Immunity." Bill smiled. "Happens."
Snorlax charged at Tornadus. The Pokemon tried to avoid the hit, but it wasn't fast enough. Snorlax's punch made contact and Tornadus was blasted away. Bill grinned.
"Nice hit. I'll hand it to you, you are strong. But strength isn't the only thing that matters." As he said that, Tornadus turned once more towards Snorlax. The hit had made its damage, but it had also angered the Pokemon. "See, extreme heat affects your attacks, even if their initial damage isn't high. Now Tornadus, use Hurricane!"
Tornadus's eyes glowed bright red. Suddenly, an incredibly powerful gust of wind blew through the field. Bill smiled, but it was a dark smile. "Not to mention that Snorlax is a slow Pokemon. Choosing it against Tornadus is either too brave or too stupid."

((Alright, what am I supposed to do? I guess I should deafeat Leo, but I don't want to godmod him. Crunchy, will you give me the opening?))

((I'm back. So if there are no objections, Tony vs. Aaron could go on.))

Tony sat in the waiting room, starting to get a little nervous. Finally after what felt like an eternity he was called in. He felt a little intimidated when he walked in, faced by formidable trainers. After waiting for a few moments, the leader, Spence, started the interview.

“First, what is your name and age?”

"My name is Anthony Laman, but I go by Tony. I'm 28 years old."

“Where do you come from? Where is your home?”

"I'm from Mauville in Hoenn. My home is there with my family."

“Okay, do you have any family or friends?”

"My mom and dad are my only blood family, but my pokemon are definently considered family. I have few friends." Tony's eyes flicked towards Silas for a brief moment.

“Next question, what are your skills?”

"I'm one of the best desert survival experts there is. I'm also one of the best ground, rock and steel type specialists since Steven Stone and the various gym leaders and elites." Tony figured that modesty wouldn't serve him well in this situation.

“What are you afraid of?”

"My worst fear is losing my family." Tony answered without hesitation. Then more slowly, slightly embarrassed, he added "I'm also afraid of water."

“Do you have any dreams or goals?”

"Right now, I want to bring Psyche down."

“What do you cherish most?”

Tony had to think about this. "That's a tough one. I guess I'd have to say my family and friends. But I also cherish freedom. That's why I left Psyche and want to bring them down. And, quite honestly, because of that, I'll probably end up leaving Midnight as well when this is all over."

“Why do you want to become a Midnight member?”

"I want to bring Psyche down. They ruined my life and I want to make them pay, and it seems to me that the only way to accomplish that is to join Midnight. I guess you could say I want to join more out of necessity than desire." Tony stopped and waited for the verdict.

Silas let a small grin reach his lips, though he was careful not to let anyone, especially Tony, see it. His old friend hadn't changed on bit. Both he and Tony let out a sigh of relief on hearing that Tony had passed.

------------------------------------------------

Tony walked into the arena, unbothered by the bright light. Spence and the Midnight Elites sat in the judging both. It was soon revealed that the next part of the examination was pokemon battles. They were to battle each other. Tony had to shake his head when one of the appllicants, Sam, challenged the Elites, thinking that to be a rash and somewhat stupid decision on his part.

Tony turned as Aaron challenged him. "So, I hear you used to work for Psyche. You're mine." Aaron took out a pokeball.

"I'm yours? Well okay then. Just don't run away crying when I beat you." Tony pulled out a pokeball. "Unfortunately for all of you, you don't get to witness my signature pokemon just yet. Tank, lets go." The Lairon materialized and let out a growl that sounded like two pieces of metal scraping against each other.

((Sorry!! I'm gonna stop disappearing for so long now lol))

Lucia gave Spence a concerned look as she left the office. What did he mean by that...is Midnight really in that much danger of being compromised by the enemy? Then why hold such open recruitment trials? She shook her head and made her way down to the arena.

--------

“...Yes, you’ve passed.”

Alex shot Spence a look of concern. This kid may have potential, yes. He may also have valid reasoning, but facts are facts. He's a kid. Alex still felt responsible for Sarah's death and he knew that it still ate away at Spence inside as well. If anything were to happen, how is he supposed to handle the lost life of another innocent? Especially such a young one. However, he knew that it wasn't his place to interject. Alex simply folded his arms and watched the second trials unfold. Surprisingly enough, Leo wasn't doing too bad - even against a clone. Alex knew how Bill was though. Carefully looking Leo over like a picture book - taking note of every possible strength and weakness. Admittedly, Alex had under estimated him before. Bill always knew how to surprise. Almost immediately, something else caught his eye.

That woman from the hallway....she's a recruit? She looked older than most of the Elites. Hell, she could probably pass for one with the blade... Alex went back to watching the match. He honestly wanted to get down there and test a few for himself.

---------------------------

Jimmy grinned slyly in the shadow after hearing of Leo's acceptance. Well, the boy certainly does have potential. It'd be quite interesting to see him out on the battlefield. Jimmy couldn't disagree with Spence's decision. After all, he himself was only sixteen when they picked him up. However, he also had Axel watching over him. Axel...what are you doing now? Why haven't you tried to contact me yet? He jumped a bit, coming back into reality as Espeon rubbed against his leg. He scratched her head gently and surveyed the other recruits.

Aaron....I like that one... Jimmy took a few notes down on the clipboard Spence had assigned him in order to keep record of his surveys.

--------------

Lucia sighed a bit, awaiting her turn. She glanced to her side and spied Samuel. With a light smirk she anticipated the battle they would have. She can tell that she'd already underestimated Leo. Hopefully her first instincts about Samuel were mislead as well. Personally, she hoped to battle another Elite. She and Crimson had already clashed swords once...but the others seemed ripe for the picking. It may not seem so bad though. Samuel looked like he may have a great deal of potential - he just may need it to tap into some unknown reserves. Lucia was sure that she could take care of that though.

"You never know who is a clone or not... Even your closest friends..." Spence's words rang through her head again. Like a reminder of sorts. How was she supposed to tell who was a clone? Its not like she had ever interacted with any...had she? Lucia eyed who she made out to be Crimson. Are there clones among the Elites that she wasn't made aware of? Only time will tell.

((Heh, sorry Crunchy. I guess I got carried away... I apologize. And Night Stalkers do use Pokemon, however Lairn is of a class that don't normally use them. Speaking of Lairn; I don't intend to make him a character, just someone to give light into Night Stalkers.))
When Torren announced that they were within range of Blackthorn, Lairn stirred. As the giant was waking, Wolf had to make a decision, and fast. "Tell them I'll be there shortly." he said to Krysta, then grabbed onto Lairn's shirt and jumped out. Luckily, Torren was flying low enough that the 15 foot fall didn't hurt. "I'm not through with you yet." Lairn said. "I know this is a risk, with your ability to use that powerful Gengar of yours to seemingly crush opponents, but... Mugz, raise hell!" A Machamp was summoned out of Lairn's only ball. Wolf chuckled. "You read the file. I didn't mention Gar?" Lairn frowned. There was no mention of that word. "Well, you're in for a treat." Wolf smiled. "Gar, go!"
------
"Tank? That's its name?" Aaron hid his impression under the guise of a chuckle. The Lairon seemed... Foreign to him. "Interesting. But, you shall lose today, not me. Comet, time to make a mockery of this fool." A Rapidash appeared in front of Aaron. "Flamethrower!"
------
"Mugz, Strength!" Lairn yelled as his Machamp started to make a run towards Gar. Wolf smirked. "Gar, Hydro Pump!" The enormous blast of water barely missed the opponent. "Wha?"
That Machamp is too fast, and by the judge of it... It has been altered through the use of an item. Most likely a Speed Brace of sorts. Let's see if you like your precious pokemon to be froze.
Once the Machamp lunged in for the swipe, Wolf timed it. "Gar, Ice Fang!"
((Oh, Crunchy, you should join WW19! We only need one person, and no staff members have joined! It won't be Werewolf w/o a staff member!))

((Saint_Jimmy, lets get this party started. Also, Crunchy. Be alright if I introduce a second character... Maybe the man that gave Sam his pokemon... Just a thought))

Samuel looked at Lucia. She looked quite old. But Samuel knew that with age, came experience. Sam would have to watch out. He slyly pulled the pokéballs from his belt. One would be the first he sent out. Hopefully he would win. Hopefully he would succeed. Samuel closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Tis was his first real pokemon battle. Sure, he had battled the odd Machop or Ampharos, but those were amateur. Those were weak. Lucia was a trainer. She had experience. Experience Samuel didn't have. He decided which one he would throw out. The one he used least.

"Go, Zilver!"

((Let the 74th Hunger Games, Begin! And may the odds be ever in your favour.))

((yeah, for battles, write in two attacks so the battle flows faster. the defender decides to dodge or take the attack. obviously leo will lose here. why not james.))

"Yeah! Nice one, Crunchy!" Leo cheered, Sparky cheering on her fellow pokemon, too.

"Nice hit. I'll hand it to you, you are strong. But strength isn't the only thing that matters."

"You're right... it takes skill, too. And I have enough of both!"

When Hurricane hit, the Snorlax stumbled back before bracing itself, pushing forward bravely. Leo grinned, "Crunchy's one of the heaviest pokemon around, no wind can stop him. Not to mention special-attacks are almost useless against him. Still..." he gazed in thought, "Bill was right, Tornadus is faster... Crunchy is showing no signs of being damaged at all, but I know every attack Tornadus is throwing at him is chipping off a bit of his health, one attack at a time... Being a Snorlax's trainer, I have to keep a cool head, make sure when Crunchy's at his limits and act accordingly..."

"Crunchy, use Rollout now!"

The Snorlax nodded, jumping into a ball and rolling with great intensity toward the Tornadus. The Hurricane was no match for the Snorlax's great strength.

As Snorlax rolled against the wind, Bill looked at Leo. I'll hand it to him... He's got guts and power. He'd make a great Pokemon Champion... once the war is over, that is. Until then, hopefully he'll make a good soldier.
"One day kid, you'll be the strongest. I have no doubt. However, that day isn't today. Tornadus, end this! Use Superpower!"
The ground shook as a huge rock was lifted from it. Grabbing hold of it, Tornadus threw it with all of its power at Snorlax.
"Rollout is an attack that grows stronger over time. However, it has one major flaw: you can't stop."

"One day kid, you'll be the strongest. I have no doubt..."

The other words didn't matter to him, Leo smiled at Bill's comment. That's what he had always dreamed... one day. In the end, Leo wished to be the best pokemon trainer, with Sparky and his pokemon by his side.

The ground shook as a huge rock was lifted from it. Grabbing hold of it, Tornadus threw it with all of its power at Snorlax.

"Rollout is an attack that grows stronger over time. However, it has one major flaw: you can't stop."

Leo remained completely unaffected, he had to believe in his pokemon, still... a powerful Superpower attack was enough to finish Crunchy in one attack IF Crunchy couldn't escape his Rollout attack. "Crunchy, stop!!"

The Snorlax miraculously escaped the previous Rollout attack, bouncing out of it in an effort and a half, bracing for the large boulder the Tornados threw. "Crunchy! Mega Punch! Now!!"

Crunchy closed his fist behind him as the boulder closed in, Crunchy threw the punch as hard as he possibly could, smashing the rock into pieces of debris around him. When the dust finally cleared, the Snorlax was fatigued and out of breath.

"It's time..." Leo nodded, the time to recover was now, a final attack from Tornados meant it was over, "Crunchy, use Rest!"

The Snorlax yawned, closing his eyes as it dropped to the stadium floor in a loud thud. Laying on his side, he eventually began rolling onto his stomach apparently already in a deep slumber. The Snorlax recovered its HP.

"Good work, Crunchy!" Leo praised, shoving his hands into his pockets, "Hehe, now Bill... I wonder if he'll take the bait..." he stared, a grin on his face as he watched Bill's reaction.

"Rest? I see... Tornadus, use Focus Blast!"
Tornadus gathered full mental power and began unleashing blast after blast at the sleeping Snorlax.
"Even if Snorlax is capable of taking big special hits, Focus Blast doesn't only damage you; it also decreases that resistance!"
Tornadus roared as it fired one more blast. Snorlax was lying sleeping on the ground, yet the clone didn't hesitate for a single moment. Bill stared at Leo.
"That's what you need to learn... A clone is heartless. Its only purpose is destruction, and it won't stop until it's accomplished it or defeated. If you want to join Midnight, you need to realize that... Our enemies don't bother with kindness and mercy, and unfortunately we must follow their example, if we are to survive..."

((Been looking forward to using her, give me a good match~))

Lucia eyed Samuel like a vulture that'd found its prey. Although she preferred to use her sword, she did love a good pokemon battle. The only problem was who to use? Forretress was hardly able to fight a one-on-one and there was no water for Lapras to thrive in. Which brought the choice down to just two.

"Go, Zilver!"

Lucia raised her eyebrow as the Staraptor appeared. To her surprise, it actually looked in very good condition. Not to dismiss Samuel, of course, but considering his age, it looked well off. Lucia nodded and reached for her belt, grabbing at the yellow Parkball. You won me my first competition and haven't let me down yet. Our bond will prove my worth to them... "Scizor!" The crimson red mantis emerged from its ball with a look of determination. She mumbled to herself, slightly upset. "Magneton wouldn't last past one hit...what a shame."

Scizor stood perfectly still awaiting its orders. One claw pointed outward as it held the other closely arched to its body - just waiting for a counter maneuver. Lucia brushed the hair from her face, carefully calculating the two in terms on size, strength, maneuverability, etc... "Scizor, Swords Dance, now!" Scizor moved its arms around semi-hypnotically as though the prongs on its...hands(?) had gotten sharper. Lucia gave it an emphatic nod. Before wasting anytime, she spat commands. "Bullet Punch!"
In a vague red flash, Scizor was making its way straight for Zilver.

Tony chuckled at Aaron. "I'm the fool? Well there's only one way to find out." His chuckle faded as Tank was surrounded in flames from the Flamethrower. He quickly realized that the Rapidash's speed was a major obstacle if he was going to win with Tank.

"Tank, use Rock Polish. Lets even out the speed difference a little." Tank's body gave off a white glow that indicated the speed boost. "Now use Headsmash! Put it down!" Tank became surrounded in a bluish-white glow and charged forward towards the Rapidash.

------------------------------------------

Silas watched from the stands as the battles started.

He eyed the first match, Bill and Tornadus fighting Leo and Snorlax. Snorlax was definently a tough opponent, but Silas was sure that Bill would be able to pull out the win.

The next match, Lucia and Scizor fighting Sam and Staraptor. Silas was a little surprised that Sam had a Staraptor given his experience. If this match played out like Silas thought, it would be close either way.

The final match surprised him the most though. He had expected Tony to bring out Smasher and end this match quickly. What's he doing? Where's Smasher? Silas wasn't sure what to make of the this match. He hadn't even realized that Tony even had a member of the Aggron family. Silas couldn't make up his mind about this match, beyond that it was going to be close.

Aaron watched as the giant charged Comet. "Comet, Bounce!" Aaron braced for what was going to happen. By the looks of it, Comet needs to land the attack and I need to shift flawless to Tales before Tank can do anything. I just hope that it's possible.
The Rapidash launched its Bounce attack just in time. Aaron smiled grimly and pulled out Tales' ball.
--------
The Gyarados seized Mugz' arm in its jaw. The Ice Fang attack did its job, and the enemy Machamp landed on the ground with its arm frozen solid. "What?" Lairn screamed. "Mugz, get up! Detect, Mugz!"
"Gar, Blizzard!"
Mugz' Detect failed, and Blizzard activated. Wolf became aware. This man is new at this. I should take it easy on him. But, I could just send a message by crushing any pride he has left. I hate to humiliate a newbie like that, but I can't allow him one chance...
As the Blizzard started to kick up, visbility dropped. Wolf smiled. Now I have the advantage.
"Gar, return! Seeker, finish him!"

"Rest?

Leo clenched, bracing for the attack of Focus Blast, "I wasn't expecting two fighting-type attacks... however, Crunchy still has a trick up his sleeve, I'm not giving up!!"

As the blast a focused energy roared towards Leo's Snorlax, Bill spoke of the legendary clones as heartless creatures.

"No, you're wrong!" Leo argued, determination and anger in his voice, "Legendary clones are NOT heartless! No pokemon who has a bond to its trainer... no pokemon... could ever be a soulless creature! You and your leader are wrong... I'll prove that to you all! Crunchy, use Sleep Talk now!!"

The Snorlax stood up in a groan, sleepwalking. Suddenly it curled, a short spin afterward, he shot directly into a Rollout attack head first into the Focus Blast. Smashing inside it, the Snorlax roared through it as the pokemon sped straight toward Tornadus. Snorlax were generally a slow pokemon... but by using Rollout, Snorlax could keep up with generally faster pokemon.

"If clones were really heartless... why is Tornadus following your every command...? Why do I feel... as though Tornadus is batting all out... for its trainer?! Crunchy, Sleep Talk!!"

The Snorlax escaped again out of its Rollout in an amazing feat, and again, its giant fist curling behind it before throwing another Mega Punch attack Tornadus's way. This is it... Leo prayed that this was enough to finish Tornadus. This was Crunchy's last attack, if he couldn't finish Tornadus here and now--

"Tornadus, avoid him."
The Pokemon zoomed out of the punch's way, and this time Snorlax hit air.
"Tornadus isn't following my every command, kid. Its genes force it to do so. If it had any chance, it would rip me apart, and would enjoy doing it. Like it's enjoying this. Tornadus, use Superpower!"
Another rock was lifted from the ravaged arena. This time, it was smaller, but it was enough.
"I've seen clones burn an entire city. I've seen a clone smiling deviously as it approached a mother and its child with killing intent. And every time I use Tornadus, I feel its hatred and rage to the very core of my existence... and that's no exaggeration. Tornadus is not battling for me... it battles for the kill."

"Well, you think fast. I'll give you that much." Tony said as Comet jumped into the air. He looked down and noted that Aaron had taken out a pokeball. He's going to switch. What is he bringing out? "Tank dodge the attack." Tank dodged out of the way, the motion made awkward by the Lairon's weight and increased speed. Tank barely made it out of the way, stumbling and eventually falling.

"Okay Tank. Good job." Tank growled in response and pushed himself up. "Double-edge. Go!" Tank charged forward again, this time leaving a gold trail of energy in its wake.

Green sat on the ledge of a large hole in the arena wall. She had only been sitting there for a few minutes, never wanting to pass up a good battle to watch.

These guys may be strong but they're reckless. If they keep punching holes in the walls this place will go down. Luckily for me it got me pass security. She looked over to where Crimson stood. Soon I'll know.

Before Green made her move she hesitated, watching the battle between the youngest boy and one of the Midnight members. "No, you're wrong!" Leo argued, determination and anger in his voice, "Legendary clones are NOT heartless! No pokemon who has a bond to its trainer... no pokemon... could ever be a soulless creature! You and your leader are wrong... I'll prove that to you all! Crunchy, use Sleep Talk now!!" She couldn't help but feel a large amount of respect for the kid, not to mention he was an amazing trainer.

She watched as the Snorlax and Tornadus battled it out. When the Tornadus used Superpower was when she decided to reveal herself.

Picking up her bow, Green strung an arrow and loosed it down at the field. The arrow struck the ground between the two Pokemon before it released a large amount of smoke. Green tossed a pokeball as she jumped from her ledge, a large Pidgeotto catching her and bringing her to the field.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I felt that this young guy has more than proven himself. Plus I like the kid's spunk.", Green turned and winked at Leo.
-------------
Crimson frowned as he listened to Bill's testament to cloned Pokemon. The guy was right, but there has been many exceptions to what he had said. Latios certainly was different than the others, but he's still a clone.

Just then the arena filled with smoke, interrupting the battle. Crimson released Gallade and drew his own blade. He looked to Gallade, "Be ready for anything."

Just then a woman stepped from the smoke, a Pidgeotto by her side. Crimson was speechless."Sorry to interrupt, but I felt that this young guy has more than proven himself. Plus I like the kid's spunk."

Before Spence could say anything Crimson blurted out, "What is your name?"

The woman scoffed at Crimson knowing exactly why he'd ask. "My name is Green."

Crimson looked a bit confused at first, "Prove it." Green smiled and nodded. Fast as lightning she strung her bow and fired an arrow at Crimson.

With a flick of his sword, Crimson deflected the arrow into the wall behind him. ".........Rachel...."

Green smirked, "So you really did survive? Always the one to impress my dear Trevor."

Crimson smiled brightly, "And you're always the one to interrupt things when they don't suit you Rachel." He quickly jumped from the area he and the other members were standing and ran onto the field. He grabbed Green and hugged her.

"Rachel I thought you were dead. I thought everyone was dead." Green couldn't contain her emotions any longer and began crying into his shoulder, "And I thought the same about you. I was about to give up all hope until you decided to spread your code name around like an idiot."

The two of them laughed as they ended their hug, completely oblvious to the others and the awkward atmosphere left by them. Crimson coughed as he looked to Spence, "This is Rachel McKneal, also known as Green. She was my second in command during Color's days and one hell of a fighter. And I'm asking that she join the team as well." At that Crimson looked at both Spence and Green for their answer.

"Comet, come back! Go, Tales! Wreck'em!"
Aaron withdrew Comet and sent out Tales. The Ninetales growled at the Lairon, who was now charging towards them. "Tales, brace yourself and use Fire Spin!"
Aaron could only hope as he watched the behemoth barrel down to Tales. "Come on. Stay up."
((Keep in mind that Aaron has been training Tales since she was a Vulpix, and nearly as long as Wolf has been with Gar (decade and a half). So, yeah. Tales is very tough and no pushover.))
--------
Under the veil of the Blizzard, Seeker made mincemeat out of Mugz. A couple of Shadow Balls did the trick, and a shadow approached Lairn. "I'm not through with you yet!" he yelled.
"Yes, you are. Go home. And don't follow me." Wolf said back. He continued walking towards Midnight HQ when a stone struck him in the back. Quickly turning around, he hurled a throwing knife towards Lairn, which missed. "That's your only warning. Go home."
Lairn turned and ran towards Olivine. "Hmm... Time to see how Aaron did." Wolf walked towards the HQ, not much of a care in the world.

"No, you're wrong! Crunchy, watch out!!" Leo screamed.

Spence grabbed at one of the handles of his sheathed swords at his back as the arrow hit the battlefield. It was only after the smoke cleared the battle, the lady revealing herself via flying-type pokemon, and Crimson's interruption, that Spence fully lowered his guard.

"This is Rachel McKneal, also known as Green. She was my second in command during Color's days and one hell of a fighter. And I'm asking that she join the team as well."

"Green, huh...? So, she sneaked inside so easily... I guess I'll have to tighten sercurity... Her skills are impressive to say the least, and I've never met a person Crimson knew who wasn't reliable..." Spence thought, watching the two hug from the booth, "Still..."

The Snorlax looked on dazed as smoke surrounded the two pokemon, Leo watched Green enter before shaking his head. "No... this battle... I would have won!" Leo lowered his head, sadly trying to accept defeat, "No..." he fell to his knees, "I would have lost... I can't believe it... I lost to someone... like him..?"

"Pikachu..." Sparky gazed at him sadly before Leo took Crunchy's pokeball from his jacket.

Leo looked to Crunchy who had already walked over, faking a giant smile, "You did a great job, Crunchy! Sorry I didn't help you out more! Next time, we'll beat him! No sweat!"

Crunchy nodded. Suddenly, Tornadus appeared behind him to strike. Leo gasped, "Crunchy, behind you!"

Alex watched on carefully as the woman spoke. Who the hell does she think she is? Just because she was in Colors, she thinks she's exempt from following simple procedure? Suddenly, he noticed the Tornadus make its way toward the Snorlax before colliding with a large barrier. Alex turned, surprised to see Cresselia hadn't leaped out of her pokeball. "Then...who?"

Jimmy grinned as he stroked Espeon's fur. Her eyes glowed a bright blue. "You should be more careful handling your clones, Bill. You never know when one might turn a bit rabid." He stepped out from where the group was sitting and eyed Green carefully. He was highly impressed at her skills, however, would she even have been able to get in if not for the battle? He wondered how much sleuthing ability she actually had. Her skill with a bow was quite impeccable to say the least.

Wearing his usual cocky smirk, Jimmy approached cautiously. "Madam, you have some fine skill." He took a gentlemanly bow before looking back to Spence. "What say you, boss? I think she'd make quite the fine addition~".

------------------------------

Lucia stared daggers at the woman. Scizor staggered a bit after suddenly stopping its dash. Vile woman...who does she think she is? We have rules and regulation for a reason... Her glare quickly shifted to Spence, having yet to utter an answer. He can't possibly commend her for this. The shear insult is more than enough to deserve her punishment.

Bill cursed as the arrow filled the place with smoke. The woman that appeared next added to his shock. OK, now this is interesting. Just then Leo screamed at Crunchy.
Damn! Bill knew one should always e focused when using a clone. The arrow however, had distracted him, and now...
He was about to send out his own Scizor, when Tornadus suddenly crashed unto a barrier. Bill casted his Pokeball before the enraged Tornadus could do any more harm. "Sorry, I should have been more careful." he apologized. "I let my attention slip... it won't happen again." He turned his attention to Leo. "You saw what just happened... the majority of clones is like that. Admittedly, they aren't all the same. Tornadus is a violent Pokemon by nature, its clone is just a barbarian. But there are other violent legendaries as well. Be careful. And as for the defeat... if you survive a battle and learn something from it, then you haven't lost. Besides, this doesn't mean you don't pass. You're a very good trainer, with the potential to become even better. You need to have a better view of your goals, though. Midnight isn't for selfish people."
"And as for you, Miss Rachel" he turned at the newcomer woman "I'd appreciate it if you didn't fire arrows in the middle of other people's battles. However, I have to admit it was a nice shot. So let me welcome you properly here." At the same time, he shot a meaningful look at Crimson. He hadn't forgotten the things he told him in the Lilycove HQ and judging by that last hug, he had a very good idea of who was Crimson's object of desire. And I don't blame him.

Green smiled slightly as the young boy congratulated his Snorlax, trying his best to hide his feeling of defeat. "With my interruption we have no idea who would have won cutie." She smiled with a slight wink at Leo. That's when Tornadus resumed his attack on the Snorlax, not caring who was in its way. Crimson stepped in front of Green to block off any attack.

Just then the Pokemon slammed into a barrier of light. Crimson turned to see Jimmy walking over. "Thanks Jimmy. Fast thinking there." "You should be more careful handling your clones, Bill. You never know when one might turn a bit rabid." He stepped out from where the group was sitting and eyed Green carefully.

"Madam, you have some fine skill." He took a gentlemanly bow before looking back to Spence. "What say you, boss? I think she'd make quite the fine addition~".

Green smiled as she curtseyed back at Jimmy. "Such a gentleman to compliment a talented woman." She shot a glare of superiority at Lucia as she spoke.

"Jimmy is a gentleman to all women, talented or not.", Crimson laughed at Green. Her face grew dark with aggression as she hit Crimson upside the head. "That's for being an idiot!"

She watched as the man that owned the clone recalled it and apologized. And as for you, Miss Rachel" he turned at the newcomer woman "I'd appreciate it if you didn't fire arrows in the middle of other people's battles. However, I have to admit it was a nice shot. So let me welcome you properly here."

"The battle was boring me.", Green tilted her head towards Bill, "You were boring me quite frankly. I, on the other hand, put an exciting end to that battle. Your 'Pokemon' as you'd call it, was holding all the emotion of the battle. You didn't amuse me at all. This boy on the other hand did."

Crimson jumped between the two before things got bad. "So how about we see what Spence says about your membership before you start burning bridges shall we?" He remembered how she could get when someone irratated her. He smirked apologetically towards Bill. Crimson saw out of the corner of his eye Lucia. Her hands were clenched in tight fists. Oh great.......

((So Green is my spice for the story. I've had her character in the works for a while and feel like this is a good outcome...at everyone else's expense of course lol. And Jimmy that is exactly how I hoped Lucia would react XD))
