Not sure how many of you know about this, but on the Pokemon website (pokemon.com) they are announcing something big tomorrow (Jan. 8). I have no clue what it is but there has been speculation about RSE remakes and even Gen. VI. Personally I think RSE remakes are more likely but again, I have no idea.

Just thought I'd let you all know so you can check and I will update this thread once I find out.

Now you've got me awaiting tomorrow. I've never been to the website. Barely any chance of it happening but I hope Remake of yellow. Something like Electric Yellow. That would be awesome.

My guess is that Nintendo is revealing its plan of world domination. To be honest, we've all seen this coming for a while now.

The starters:
-Grass = Chespin, a mole with the shell of a horse-chestnut seed on its head
-Fire = Fennekin, a fox (probably fire/psychic)
-Water = Froakie, a frog

Legendaries:
-one is a red and black coloured bird/dragon
-the other is a blue, black and cream coloured Stag

Good catch DragoBoy, I think you may be right. They're certainly not going back to Japan, anyway.

My first impression is good. I may actually end up getting a 3ds when the time comes ;o. Hopefully there will some kind of bundle with the games. I'll have to see more of the 3d (haven't looked at any videos yet, if there any >_>) but it looks okay.

I like the starters and in particular Froakie, although I believe I'm due for using a Fire type this time. The legendaries are just a big X and a big Y, huh.

I'm like, PRETTY sure that's a monument in Japan. Definitely NOT the Eiffel Tower. All of the pokemon regions were based on places in/near Japan, right?

I would be fine if you were actually in France or a region based of the country. It would be nice for some Pokedex entries that reference our world to actually be put in place.

Also calling it now that the "X' legendary looks like the Forest Guardian from Princess Mononoke

Well the Tokyo Tower is based on the Eiffel Tower and pretty much looks like it expect it is orange. I saw it in the summer and it was pretty cool ;o. But Tokyo was already done in Kanto so they won't be doing it again.

Let's just pray that Fenniken's final evolution isn't Fire/Fighting.

Character customization is a possibility.

In the video it shows Fenniken using what appears to be a psychic type move. Maybe it's a hint at it's final evolution's type. Or maybe not.

Can you imagine the outrage? It would be hilarious.

I noticed that they broke the Chinese zodiac trend for fire starters. Although a fennec fox is a nice idea, and I really hope it does end up as Fire/Psychic. It looks like they could also break the reptile trend for grass startes.
