What your favorite pokemon cry?

Dusknoir, for sure. It sounds like someone dying.
And if I'm allowed to count Gen 5 at all, then Chandelure...which also sounds like someone dying.

An addition to that list would probably be {hydreigon}. It sounds kinda like death to me.


My favorite cry from Sinnoh is definitely 's. It sounds like this epic hawk - who on earth doesn't like hawks? In other generations, it would be either {victini}, , or {mienshao}.


I don't know about Darkrai, he sounds pretty boring to me.

Giratina's, because it just sounds eerie.

The 11-year-old in me wants to say Stunfisk because it sounds like flatulence.

I've thought Recice's cry was neat. Something about that sound and a crystalline entity; I dunno, it just seems to work nicely.

Regice is one of my high favorites too for cry candidates.

By the way, it's Skuntank, not Stunfisk.

For me, the humor in farts lies in the spontaneity. It's difficult to predict when and where they'll strike, and the funniest ones have a tendency to happen in the least expected places and times. I certainly wasn't expecting that when Stunfisk popped onto my screen for the first time.

Meh, I don't know what it is about Skuntank, but it just doesn't tickle my funny bone like the 'fisk does. Maybe it's the fact that it's a skunk, and I'm already subconsciously assuming it stinks before the sound even plays? Shrug.

Back on topic, another noteworthy mention is Piplup. To me, that was the first time a Pokémon cry sounded like an actual animal and not a chiptune sound effect. It was a sign that the technology in Nintendo handhelds was vastly improving.

Both Pokemon's cries sound like farts. Just saying.

They need to improve the ''old'' pokemon's cry. I want Rapidash to sound actually like a horse, not a computer.

Or maybe they could improve the cries, but put something in the options/ pokedex to switch to the ''old'' cries.

I've just remembered a nice pokemon cry:
It is actually pretty nice. And it fits with the pokemon (Virtual pokemon (computer))

Arceus and Spiritomb are definitely my favorite cries!
ANd Zubat is the most memorable and nostalgic for me.

Personally, I like Drifblims, it sounds like an electric guitar.
