Hi.
If someone has time to answer, please do. Some pokemons on routes can be found only, if, FireRed for example, is inserted to the machine. How does this work, cause I've tried to find for example Haunter or Gengar in old Chateaus painting room, but 100 Gastlys later, nothing. Do I have to do something, before these inserted games affect on the wild pokemon in my Pearl? Thx for your help. |

It should work if you're the purple painting room. If it doesn't, then my recommendation is to just catch a Gastly then train it.

To be specific, it's one of the five rooms upstairs, that has a purple "window" on a wall that has red eyes whenever you are not looking at it. Gengar shows up there very rarely (iirc the chance is 10% or less) when you have an FR or LG inserted into the GBA slot. _________________ If you love Golden Sun's music, check this guy's channel out.
