having only 1 type for your entire team?

hi everyone, i was just starting again on my soul silver game, and was wondering if you could have a whole water team throughout the game? can that work for other types aswell.

I'm not saying it cant be done, but it wont be easy. Especially since Wooper, Totodile, and Magikarp will be your team for most of the time, then you'll be able to get Krabby and Tentacool.

i like totodile because i can get through most of the game i had about 5 gym badges before i even caugh my 2nd pokemon apart from HM slaves. i had a feraliagtor lvl 48.
but i know you can get a lapras on fridays, golduck, seel, staryu, red gyrados, tentacruel, lantern, octillery, and my starter. |

It's possible, but the only type it's really even practical to do so for is Water, simply because of their sheer number...plus all the secondary types they have. That helps too.

You could get 6 water pokemons with different 2nd type
Exemple: Tentacruel: Poison Lanturn: Electric Pelliper: Flying Cloyster: Ice Relicanth: Rock Kingdra: Dragon With this, you can get many movesets wich super effective all types and resist to many types (like grass on Lanturn or electric on relicanth.)
