I have a brain that seperates what is true and false w/o anyone to tell me so. But yeah, I'm not the typical teenager who has **** like that on their mind 24/7.

In my opinion love is something that just kindof happens, ya know? me and my friend Lauren just kinda fell in love slowly over time, were still best friends

As for me, I'm still stuck in the situation in which I like my best friend, and she likes me back, but neither of us can work up the courage to tell each other. Do it. I know this may sound odd, coming from me, but go for it. You dont want to end up like me. I was in the same situation, like 3 years ago. Eventually, youll become friend-zoned, and probably end up like me, a cynical, living shell of a human that some parts died inside of. Then again, life hasnt always been so grateful to me.
Trust me, the worst that could happen is not asking. Believe it or not, my gf and I were at the same point before I asked. Then again, look what that turned me into... EDIT (5/9): I ran into one of the worst douchebags there could be today. He said "I like your shirt" in a sarcastic way, so replied "Good for you". Apparently, he was ragequitting already, and went off on me. He called me names, like... Well, I'm not going to say, because they were that bad. But he called me a  bitch (and when I say , I was saying he said f*****g. It was a five letter word.) and was all like "Say it to my face." By this time, the room was laughing. He didnt know why, but everyone else did. I looked at him and just laughed and told him it wasnt my fault his parents dropped him on his head. it does hurt your relationship with your friends tho, just enjoy spending time with the people you enjoy spending your time with, If she wants a kiss, you'll know at the doorstep
 But really, don't "go out" with someone for the sake of "going out" I mean, most of us are high school age, this is the time to explore options, youll miss out n experiences you could be having while your snogging someone elses wife. Ok, can someone see what's wrong with this?
I'm one of the most healthiest, fit people in my entire class (physically). Mentally, well, that's my 'Mr. Hyde', so to speak. One disorder is a type of psychogenic shock. Whenever a medical procedure or an injury is described graphically, I tend to... Overreact, in sense. Anyways, were studying magnetism in Physics, and my teacher was describing his neck surgery that he had awhile back. I tried not to listen, but eventually I started going into shock. My heart was beating loud enough a classmate said he could hear it faintly. I began coughing and summoned the strength (since I was losing motor functions) to walk to the door to get some water. I collapsed 7 feet from the door. My heart overworked itself and it ended up stopping for a few seconds. By then, the class cleared out (since they had to go to the computer lab) and they restarted my heart in time. I recover and come back to class. I walked in, and they were laughing. At me.
