Hey guys, I'm having some trouble finding a ground type Pokemon to battle the the gym leader Elesa with. I'm sure you all know anyway, but Elesa specializes in electric type Pokemon. Can anyone tell me where I can get a ground type Pokemon from? Thanks. :)

1.) Go south. Find a Sandile. Train it. Destroy Elesa.
2.) Frost makes the BW walkthrough. Check it out. It was made so people could use it.

Thanks for the advice, even though I still can't beat Elesa (even with a Sandile Lv. 26). Either she's really tough (mostly because she keeps switching her freakin' Pokemon.) Or I'm a bad trainer! (Which is impossible.) And I'll be sure to check out Frost's Black/White walkthrough. :) Thanks for the help.

Try evolving your Sandile into a Krokorok and teaching it Rock Tomb and Dig. Rock Tomb to deal with the Emolga(y) because they will not be affected by Ground type moves and the speed reduction helps your kroc go first. Then mopping up Zebstrika should be no prob with Dig. I had the same problem and can assure you this works.

Or, if you really want to try, go back to Wellspring Cave on Route 3 and catch a Roggenrola and train it until it becomes Boldore at Level 25. Bonus step is to trade for a Gigalith. Boldore/Gigalith will have no trouble with Elesa.

My Gigalith wrecked her whole team with straight Rock Blasts! I used it for the rest of my play-through, and it came in handy quite a lot! Can anyone else say Sturdy for the win!?! :D
