No. Im not talking about Big Time Rush. I mean Rush. Progressive Rock Band that started in the 70's. I know there might not be tons of fans out there, but chat about Rush here. Looking forward to talk about Rush's songs, albums, and members with any fan!!!

Also, plz dont flame Rush here. Trust me, i know there are NOT a lot of people who like them.

RUSH IS THE GREATEST BAND EVER!!!11ELEVEN!!

I saw them on their recent tour, the Time Machine tour, and am paciently waiting for the new album called Clockwork Angels to come out. I also have every studio album released (excluding their VERY early singles and their two recent ones, Caravan and BU2B) and some live albums.

Some of my favorite albums are 2112, Vapor Trails, and Hemispheres, and my favorite some by them (and favorite song ever) is Soliloquy (among the 2112 song). I like the depressing guitar in the beginning, and it goes into an EPIC guitar solo. Just glad to see some Rush fans here!

Definitely, I have their entire discography in FLAC, and listen to them daily.

My favorite album is Moving Pictures, followed by 2112, A Farewell to Kings, Caress of Steel, Permanent Waves, and Fly By Night (probably in that order). My favorite songs are 2112, Tom Sawyer, Red Barchetta, Xanadu, and The Spirit of Radio (not necessarily in any order).

Awesome! Im really happy that i found some Rush fans! My favorite songs have to be Closer to the Heart, Red Barchetta, 2112, One Little Victory, A Farewell to Kings, Cygnus X-1 Book I and II, and Xanadu. (Not in that order). There are defininately a lot more, but im not gonna say em :). Btw, Ive seen the Time Machine Tour twice, once in August 2010, and once in April 2011. They played great, and i love Caravan and BU2B so much, i cant wait for them to release Clockwork Angels!

Haha wow. I wish i went to a concert when I was 7. It would have been Snakes & Arrows, i think. It would have been friggen AWESOME to see Snakes & Arrows. They played Mission, One Little Victory, Entre Nous, and Hope. I would have had a great time!

Also, lately I've been liking some of Rush's 80s/90s albums like Grace Under Pressure, Hold Your Fire, Roll The Bones, etc. But I still prefer the older albums better.

And let's not forget the world-famous South Park tribute! OUTRAGEOUS!!!! It can be seen during Tom Sawyer on the Snakes & Arrows Live video. (Or YouTube search it)

I seriously LOVE Hold Your Fire. I think it's one of the best albums Rush ever put out. I love it so much i learned to play Force Ten on the bass. Hehehe. It's awesome.

heck yes!! I only have Moving Pics and some of the songs off of theire Greatest Hits album, as well as Turn the Page and Natural Science. It's kinda sad that whenever someone requests Turn the Page, they forget to ask for the one by Rush, and so I have to yet again listen to the song by Bob Seger. Rush's version is not a cover, I can assure you of that, but Turn the Page by Rush is better.

Link to that song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIqhIrShjxc

Awesome! If you like stuff like Natural Science, I would try listening to Grand Designs from the album Power Windows (If you haven't listened to it already), and almost any song from Hold Your Fire or Hemispheres. Also, try listening to songs from Feedback. It's Rush covering songs that they loved as teenagers. The eight songs that they play are Summertime Blues, Heart Full of Soul (This and Summertime Blues are awesome.), For What It's Worth, The Seeker (Also awesome), Mr. Soul, Seven and Seven Is, Shapes of Things, and Crossroads (Once again; Awesome.). Despite my opinions they are all awesome. Lol. And you dont have to pay for any of these songs just cuz I said to listen to em' btw. Look them up on Youtube first :).

Also, loved the RWJ quotes in your sig! :D

I live on classic rock. Rush, Journey and a little bit of Queen are all the 80's I listened to, and after that, all the songs are either made for a video game (like Hard Drivers by Ekstrak for NFS Carbon) or I associate with a video game (like Are Friends Electric? by Gary Numan, featured on NFS Carbon).

And yes, Feedback is one of my favorite albums (if you don't include their early albums with Neil Peart, and Working Man). As with all but 2 cover versions, I like to original song better (the 2 I like the cover versions better are With A Little Help From My Friends and Knockin' On Heaven's Door) but as far as The Seeker goes, that was probably the first time I'd heard Geddy hold a note that long... Rush is fricking awesome! I am also a big fan of =3 and Breaking L.A.

and about your sig... it looks familiar to a person who still owns and plays Silver and Crystal! Ho-Oh + Lugia + Typhlosion + crazy amount of hyper potions, revives and full heals = Total domination for me. How did Golbats get to level 55 in Mt. Silver?!

Cool info! I love =3 too. I swear the funniest one is U Be Trippin'. I couldnt stop laughing.

Also, my sig is Red's team, and honestly, it's not the best. Just powerful. They're all Lv. 97+ for me, but they're only good for anything not online.

Rush Trivia: at the end of 2112, there's those robot-like voices that say "Attention all planets of the solar federation: we have assumed control". They say the first seven words of that three times in a row, then the last four words of that three times in a row. The first part sums up to equal 21 words, then the second part of that sums up to equal 12 words. Connect the dots.

Rush is amazing. I have their entire discography. Their best albums are probably Fly By Night, 2112 and A Farewell To Kings. Great albums. Great Band.
