I have a lot of favorite types but I cant decide on one of them. So I want to see what types people are using right now. I am in to Ice, Steel, and Flying types. Please vote on the poll even if you just view this topic.

I usually go by looks. blastoise, meganium, swampert, torterra/empoleon, and the new fire thing. In general though I lean towards water types I guess.

I agree. I can't decide on a favorite type. But I am partial to steel right now. To me I like certain Pokemon, not certain types.

Well, I use Dragon types the most, since my favourite Pokemon is a Dragon type and I use it all the time.

I've never really thought about deciding on a favorite type, because when I build a team, it usually consists of every type, one way or another, whether it be Pokemon Types or move types.

I like to use a variety of Pokemon types, but I always make sure that my team has at least on Grass type, one Psychic, and one Ghost. They are my three favorite types!

I choose the Pokémon, not the type. But I prefer Water, Psychic, Ice and Grass-types. And I try to use every type. Furthermore, my favorite Pokémons have all types.

I tend to like the Pokemon not the type. But if I had to chose I would not be able to.

I rarely use the starters nowadays (just to be different). When I do, I usually pick Fire or Grass, as there are 111 water Pokemon to choose from, the most of any type.

I usually try to balance my teams, but my favorite type is probably Dragon. I voted for Fire and Water because I always pick the fire starter and there are a lot of good water types : Starmie, Milotic, Blastoise, Poliwrath, Gyarados, etc.

Yeah. I tend to avoid Milotic, since it's particularly my least favorite Heavy Water.

I dont really choose a certain type to be my favorite cuz I like my teams to be diverse. And what I normally do is like for example in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald:
Ruby: I start with Torchic
Sapphire: I start with Mudkip
Emerald: I start with Treecko
That way once I breed my starters and trade, I'll have all 3 and their evos recorded in all 3 pokedexes.

Yep, that's a good start to completing the Pokedex!

Well I like that people have different veiws. I have noticed that most people I play with pick Dragon. It confuses me because they can only back there opinion by saying its based on looks.

I tend to go by Pokemon. I don't always like restricting myself to just a handful of types, because then I can get hit with weakness on multiple Pokemon and I don't really have much of a response.
I am a bit partial towards Steel- or Psychic-types (or genderless Pokemon), and right now I'm challenging myself to build an EV trained team in BW using only Steel- or Psychic-types, with no legends, but I'm allowed one random Pokemon outside of that.

It's...quite interesting, really.

these are my 10 favorite pokemon but when it comes to types my favorites are steel and ice. ya I know like two of my favorite pokemon are of these types

Fire for sure hit hard and fast

I have a specific team formula: One flying/dragon, one fire, one grass, one water, one alternate (Steel, ground, Rock), and One Special (Psychic, Ghost, Dark).

Well the ghost type is good because not that many things hit them

Right now I'm using a Dragon/Ice type, a Dragon/Electric type, a Psychic/Flying type, a Fire/Flying type, and a Grass/Fighting type all legendary pokemon, but soon I'll be using a Dark type, a Fire/Fighting type, a Psychic type, a Steel/Flying type, and a Water/Ice type, and soon the Fire/Flying type will be a Fire/Dragon type and yes my favorite types are Dragon types!

I go towards Dragon and Fire types i guess.

I want to make a team purely of Dragon types and a team of Flying types.



...as soon as summer comes. Maybe.
