Ah..I wasn't leaving and coming back into their Hideout, but I decided to just trade over GTS..it was much more "hassel free"! lol

Thanks

To migrate pokemon, you will need a Ds or a DS litbecause they have the GBA slot. IF my knowledge serves me correctly the DSI And DSIXL do not have this.

First make sure your Ds or DS Lite is OFF. Insert a GBA pokemon catridge into the GBA slot and the DS pokemon catridge in its apporprate slot.

Turn the game on as usual. In the Opening menu of the game (were you choose to continue your saved file) until you see "migrate from______".
Press A.

After the prompt screesn you will be able to transfer ANY poemon thats in your box over to your DS pokemon version. YOU CAN ONLY TRANSFER A TOTAL OF SIX POKEMON PER DAY (24 HOUR PERIOD).

After that go to the pal park and go cathc them!

Can someone tell me a better guide on how to get Skorupi? This is one pokemon I am actually excited about and I cannot find him.

I know he's in the Great Marsh.
I know that according to this main site he needs to be seen through the binoculers.
I know according to a few other sites it doesn't matter, just that he's rare.

And I don't see any trades for him... so... yeah. Any help/advice?

Make sure the pokemon is the first one in your party and then show it to her, it worked for me.

I'm not sure where the guide would be, but the steps to upgrade your trainer card are:
-Defeat the pokemon league and enter the hall of fame
-Complete the national pokedex
-Win 100 consecutive battles at the battle tower
-Win all divisions at the master rank of the pokemon super contests
-Upgrade to the platinum flag in the underground

And the colors are blue, bronze, silver, gold, and black.

It depends on the type of the Pokemon using it. To calculate, try this site:

I didnt get it though.

Basically, it is based on your pokemon's IV spread...

An example is HP Fire(Hidden Power) with a Base Power of 70, to get that HP Type & also get the Base Power, the below is a possibility;

HP = 31
ATK = 30
DEF = 31
SPATK = 30
SPDEF = 31
SPE = 30

There are other possibilities for any of the HP Type & Base Power combos, you either need to breed or Poke'SAV your pokemon to get the HP you want at MAX Base Power...

You can trade like normal from recent remakes, such as Heartgold, Soulsilver, etc.

If you want a pikachu with volt tackle, you must breed two pikachus, one of which must be holding a light ball. When the egg hatches, you will get a pichu that knows volt tackle. :D

Alright serious help is needed here. I'm trying to make my shiny Scizor EV trained 252 Speed, 252 Attack, and 4 hp. No biggie right? well when i was checking it's IV's on the psypokes main site, it turns out that i did something wrong in EV training. No biggie right? Just use "friendly" berries. I lowered all EV's down to 0 because i had no clue where i messed up. It's level 100. No big deal right? There's a few ways to get the EV's back up such as the "Box Trick" or other methods. I've tried over and over again and battling no matter how many battles, the stat's will not change and feeding berries to lower EV's to zero again "It won't have any effect." No biggie right? WRONG... I need help... The only thing that appears to work in changing EV's is vitamins (carbos, protien, etc.) alright well for every one vitamin used, I can only use one "friendly" berry before "It won't have any effect." I'm researching as much as I can on this for my own sake and maybe even to help specify the Effort Value Guide on the main site. Any help, advice, or past experience on this topic would be very nice indeed. :) PS just please don't tell me that I'm stuck with a really sucky level 100 shiny scizor. That would be the ultimate sad face :(
More misc. info:
Shiny Scizor:
level 100
Non-Contageous/spreadable Pokerus
Original trainer was not me.
IV's (not EV's):
Hp: 24
Att: 28
Def: 1
Sp.D: 22
Sp.A: 30
Spd: 31
Version: Platinum.
I have plenty of Berries that lower EV and plenty of money to experiment with Vitamins. as for now, I'll be battling magikarps until no tomorrow while experimenting with all this jazz.

EDIT: Note to everybody. When using an EV lowering berry on gen IV and V, if the stat has over 100 EV's, the berry lowers it to 100. So if you think "Hey I'll just train attack and speed to 255 EV's, lower them both by 10 with one berry on each, get hp up 4 EV's, and finally training speed and attack back up to 252." ... that. That is what screwed me over on this delicate shiny scizor. The main site's Effort Value Guide to how the berries work needs to be updated accordingly. After some research, the box trick does not work If the pokemon is level 100. Looks like I'm SOL it's time for me to start breeding or chaining for another shiny scyther... or use vitamins to gain 100 EV's max in each stat. Things you need to know before trying to EV train...

You can EV train level 100 Pokemon on the 5th Gen (B/W) so all is not lost if you transfer it

In Generation Four, Level-100 Pokemon can't gain EVs through battle, unfortunately. In Generation Five, they can.

I agree that miscounting totally sucks but there are only two real solutions: transfer to Gen-5 or get a new Scizor.

ok I have a question I've been confused about..

when you walk up to giratina, is it possible for him to be shiny, or do you have to wait to see him in battle? I'm in in middle of trying to get the shiny version of him while in the dream world.. any tips?

...Distortion World, I assume you mean. You said Dream World.

Giratina can be shiny regardless of whether or not you see his overworld sprite as shiny. The chance will always be the same when you talk to it.

No; they won't fit. DPP are DS games, and GBA SP is an older system.

GBA games will work in a DS, but not the other way around.
