Does Wide guard defend against surf/earthquakes from your allies? if so it would be very helpful
as far as red card goes, does it work activate on allies as well?

Wide Guard protects from teammate's multi-target attacks (such as Earthquake and Surf). It does not block Perish Song however.


I'm not sure about Red Card, but I don't understand why you would want your teammate Pokemon to be switched out with no choice in which Pokemon comes in, instead of just switching out manually.

Red card is a random switch? I just wanted to know if it would be triggered by an allies surf, thanks for wide guard though
