I found the picture, and what it said, to be fitting and something that would make a nice plot twist if it were said in the story. after i read this it got me thinking every gym leader has something to do with the story line exept these three. so what do you the forum goers of psypoke think

Yeah, I noticed how those three where the only Gym Leaders who did not come to your aid against the 7 sages in N's Castle. Also, Monkeys can move like ninjas. I think they could be...

My only concern about the theroy is the fact that cilain Joins Ash in the anime.. They wouldn't have a main character turn out to be part of an Evil orgainization would they?

That'd be a freakin' epic twist. And besides... Cilan's already shown his sinister side once or twice. And he's JASON GRIFFITH!

I didn't think this was a plausible theory...until I saw that picture. Now I'm a believer. But this isn't something that's put into the game and just kept hidden for all time. There has to be at least one small mention of it in B/W somewhere. I'll dedicate all my spare time in Black searching for answers.

The anime and games are two separate things so trying to compare the two cannons would be stupid. It is just a silly theory, that I felt like it would be interesting to share. It is slightly fitting, and personally I believe that they could be. There is no sufficient evidence to support, or deny, this claim.

It IS indeed very strange that they don't help fighting the 7 Sages, isn't it? But post-game, Cress would tell you that: Cress wrote: ...We heard about the incident with N's Castle. If we had received the message in time, the three of us could have helped. While a twist like 'the 3 weak-looking early Gym Leaders are loyal members of the evil team!' would be common in fan fiction/novels (oh & in Pokemon Adventures), I highly doubt if Game Freak would really design such a twist of betrayal. So it seems to me that whoever made up this theory simple found that there are 2 trios in the game then linked them together. While we're on the subject of the Shadow Triad, mind that Highlight to view spoiler.
post-game, it's revealed that the they rescued Ghetsis (who is on the run now) & they're the only ones still loyal to him. Maybe future game(s) would pick up more on this storyline......

Well, I suppose it's not too late for the manga to take advantage of this, is it?

After all, they put Pryce as the head of the resurrected Team Rocket in the manga.
