I noticed that the psydex now carries the crys of the black and white pokedex, and for that some of then are extremely realistic and even close to the real thing!
Minezumi

Although most of them just plain suck...

OMG I haven't listened to them yet. Thanks for deciding what I'll spend my next five hours on lol.
I love Daikenki!

Also, it's getting weird to hear older cries in-game mixed with newer ones.
I know we won't have to worry about it for the storyline in G5, but all the battles and such that will take place later...

I listened to Daikenki's. I like love it, but it sounds nothing like a real sea lion. Just more reasons to choose mijumaru.

I do really like the new cries of the 5th gen pokes, but it just won't feel the same when your battling a legit dog that makes dog noises instead of battling a hypno that sounds like a really old pc or a wailord that sounds like a really really dissonant tuba chord. I know i'll miss it. It's also going to seem pretty weird in the anime when some dude throws the ball and out come a dog that barks instead of saying its name like almost all of the rest of them do

I like many of the new cries.

I wish they would revamp the 1st, 2nd (and, perhaps 3rd) gens's Pokemon cries. It's just weird to listen to some nice, realistic cries alongside weird, computer noises.

I guess my favorites (for now) would be:

Muurando's
Shibirudon's
Shandera's
Zeburaika's
Warubiru's
Baffuron's
Urugamosu's; kind of reminds me of foliage catching on fire
Kobaruon's; reminds me of a precious stone, or something spacial, like a UFO

But my top-top faves from this gen are:

Warubiaru's; it reminds me of a chainsaw
Birijion's
Borutorosu's; it's wind, followed by thunder
Reshiram's; something heavenly
Meroetta's
