I am currently partway through a project which aims to correct as many of the errors in learnsets across as many major Pokedexes as I can (focusing on what can get what, not the methods, so far). I currently have Smogon's, Veekun's, and Pokemon Online's (derived from Serebii's third and fourth generation dexes, with event moves and various corrections by me previously) databases in a form which is fairly easy to compare with the others (the format is
Abra:Nightmare
Absol:False Swipe
). Originally it was just going to be for Smogon, where I am a moderator of the C&C forum, but there is much to gain for the Pokemon community as a whole by having correct and consistent Pokedexes across all sites, and the extra work is best done all at the same time. So far I have given chaos text files with almost 100 corrections to the RBY Smogon dex and over 2400 corrections to the GSC database, and these changes have been implemented. I am working on the third gen changes by comparing three ~20000 line tables (with many thousand disagreements to check in total), and looking at your dex as well as several others when the databases I have are in conflict. So far, I have found that every Pokedex has mistakes here and there, especially in event and tutor data, and yours is no exception (I currently compare with your dex by checking each page as I go, and have noticed a fair few oddities but not kept record so far). This work would be significantly easier if I had an output of your database in the same format as the others (or one easily convertible into it). If you can give me your database in a format I can use, I will provide you with a list of corrections to your Pokedex for the first four generations (I'll go back over the past generations after doing 3rd/4th). I would also be interested in knowing what sources you used to generate your Pokedex.

If you are unable or unwilling to release your database that is understandable, but I hope you consider my offer.
