On the radio, put the selector thing right in the middle of the screen, then move it up until you're between the two middle orange circles. It should be on something called the Poke-Flute. Talk to him again and he'll wake up. Afterwords, change the station to something else, because having the Poke-Flute on will decrease your chances of encountering a wild Pokemon. (Pokemarch does the opposite and will increase the odds of seeing random Pokemon)
