Protect lets you pwn Slackings, prevent Earthquakes from killing your own Pokemon in double battles, and stall for the Toxic/Flame Orb on your Guts Sweeper to kick in.

True, which is apart of what makes it so annoying, no?...

Protect and Detect aren't that bad if you have the patience and the strategy.

i hate:

using roar of time, but thy switch for an exploud or somthing like that before you attack

detect. "hey, look, i kan kill u in 1 hit" FIGHT...SURF... "foe meditate used detect..." then the next turn they use a full restore.

double team. u get stuck in a tranier battle, u wanna get somewhere important, the first thing they do is max out there evassion.

when i got my first game of pokemon (ruby(a "friend" stole it from me then said he(she)would give it back, that was 7 years ago u Ahole)) i thoughgt that splash cured burn and paralize ect ect. so i had this gyrados, it was burned, i used splash... WTF man... splash...splash...splash...WTF!!!!!!!!! i soon deleted splash.



but then nuzleaf evolved and became almost decent

and last 4 me is explosion/selfdestruct. RUN..."can't escape...geodude use selfdestruct...geodude fainted" and ur left with a pokemon on 1 health. i hav only had 1 good encounter with this move, i sent out gengar, so it didn't effect me(HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA)

Umm, it's Softboiled...unless that was suppose to be a joke & yeah, recovery moves are also erritating ingame the few times it occurs...

double team why why do they have it on ingame teams karens freaking umbreon uses double team and with hax my metagross misses with hammer arm double team again until i cant hit with anything other than the puny magmar i trained that knows faint attack and that does nothing against it <throws ds across room, then goes and makes sure ds didnt die>

Hitmonlee held on using its Focus Sash. Hitmonlee used Counter.

Accuracy reduction or evasion booster, they really gives me pain in the *** to kill, and i don't have any sure-hit moves.

Endure, Detect, Protect, Recover, Softboiled, Counter, Mirror Coat and something like that gives me frustation.

i always get hit by the attack, and because my prediction is so terrible, i usually end up losing because of it.

so when i start using it myself, it never hits. :@

The most annoying, is... Sand Attack and poisoning move

Confuse Ray. CONFUSE RAY. It gives my Pokemon a 99% chance of OHKOing itself.

Either that, or accuracy-reducing moves. 100-accuracy moves, after exactly one accuracy reduction move, seem to hit about 50% of the time, thanks to the fact that the random number system hates me.

THIS!!

Anything that reduces accuracy or increases the foe's evasion. I love using them myself, but hate foes using them against me. I also hate Reversal.
Fake Out is annoying as well.
