I prefer ratata because u can get fear rattata and magikarp sucks

Rattata, it could have a good moveset using his original and tutored move. While a Magikarp, what is the best moveset it could possibly have? Hands down.

Magikarp because it evolves into one of the most powerful water type Pokemon.

If you play it right, Magikarp can do just fine, apparently...

Anyway, of the two I like Rattata better. Mice are cute, goldfish... not so much.

Although if he had to do all that ****, whatever it was, to make it kick ass like that, it's not a big step up.

I voted rattata not stopping to consider if evolutions count, and Ratatta can be badass, mine called Hurricane took down Brock's onix in my LG with a mad combo of tail whip and quick attack(and some potions no doubt). I still carry him around as one of my besties.

You could probably do that with just about any pokemon which learns Flail. As he explained in the video description, Flail at 1 HP has a 200 base power. He gets a speed boost and maxed attack from the Smeargle, with the Belly Drum and Substitue (dropping HP enough to activate Salac Berry), and then baton passes the stat boosts to Magikarp. Maxed attack with a 200 base power attack is enough to kill just about anything in one hit, even with a Magikarp.

Magikarp will eat your face off.It doesn't even need to evolve.Do I really have to reference the anime?But I hacked my game to allow lv.1's into the battle tower, and kicked serious a** with my fear rattata. Not to mention when I used a fear rattata against my noob of a friend (at that point anyway) he was like 'what the he!l?' when I sent it out. His reaction was hilarious when I bet him with 6 lv.1 rattatas.XD

Ratatta is a beast poke.

I am going with cause when factoring in Flail there is really nothing in Ratatta's moveset that is as fierce as that is, hands down...

I'l say Rattata. A Level1 Rattata with Endeavor can kill even a Dragonite.
