Yeah, I was going to say gove but hand came out instead.

And that makes sense, about the aurora beam. The only problem is how does it create the borealis effect? According to wikipedia
wikipedia wrote:
Auroras are the result of the emissions of photons in the Earth's upper atmosphere, above 80 km (50 miles), from ionized nitrogen atoms regaining an electron, and oxygen and nitrogen atoms returning from an excited state to ground state. They are ionized or excited by the collision of solar wind particles being funneled down and accelerated along the Earth's magnetic field lines; excitation energy is lost by the emission of a photon of light, or by collision with another atom or molecule

So how would a Pokemon recreate that?

So like, if they not as experienced then that don't know how to properly relase the energy, as opposed to those Pokemon that are experienced, so they could release even more energy. However, if we're going to be talking of science and physics there always has to be one thing thats a pain in the ass.

What about legendaries? Lets say a Dragonite and a Mewtwo are both level 100. They both know Hyper beam. If what you say is correct, Dragonites Hyper beam should be stronger than Mewtwo's hyper beam because he is much larger and they both have the same amount of experience.

It's not as much a borealis effect, as it is a rainbow. Some idiot saw the rainbow and said 'let's call it an aurora 'cause it's shiny and multicolored.'

Pokemon with higher base stats in certain areas are capable of storing more energy, thus can release more.

Experienced Pokemon know not how to control as to draw more from their supply.

But where dos this energy come from? And what are these stats based on in reality? According to Einstein, E=mc² so that would mean the larger Pokemon would always have more energy.

Do larger pokemon perhaps need to use more of the energy that they do have maintaining their bulk? Like Snorlax has got to use a ton of energy just to move itself around.

Base stats could be how energy efficient the pokemon is in each area.

Have you ever seen Avatar: The Last Airbender? Aang isn't able to voluntarily enter the Avatar state until he learns how to. He learns to control and release his energy. It's kind of like that with Pokemon; experienced Pokemon can control their energy, and optimize its release.

Well, if the air is really cold, it'll freeze the water vapor in the air into ice. The light shining through these particles will create a rainbow, thus resembling the Auroras. It's not really warping the air,or making an actual Aurora, but it is creating snow crystals that act as prisms. I hope the explanation of my theory was alright. ^.^'

About Pokeballs. I have another question: Arceus= God. How do you catch God? I mean, shouldn't it be physically impossible? :/

Thus Arceus's (and others') low capture rates.

True larger pokemon harder to store
or it could be that the legendaries are saturated energy and so harder to store that energy
how do the quick ball, moon ball, net ball, dusk ball, luxury ball, and just about avery other type of ball other than the basic four, premier, and heavy ball work
how does moon ball differentiate those who evolve with moon stone from those who dont or quick ball detirmine if it is fast enough or dusk if it is night or luxury how do you store pokemon in luxury

stones how do they work in anime you touch pokemon with stone and poof they evolve
other evolution items (other than porygon he actualy makes sense he just gets upgrades) you hold them do something (usualy trading why trading) and again they evolve

Different types of balls convert the matter in different ways, each way being advantageous in certain situations.

Are you serious? Stones are explaned in-game. They emit special radiation and when the radiation comes in contact with certain Pokemon, it triggers a stimulus in the Pokemon's genetic code. Kind of like how the sun causes skiin cancer.

Umm...Actually, no explanation on that last part. Creative challenge by Nintendo?

Pokemon just got confusing all of a sudden
sorry never got the memo about stones :(
how is it that you are able to ride on the backs of some of the smallest and weakest pokemon for hms
You can fly with Lv1 pidgy (ride on its back for flying)
surf on a tentacool (supposed to be a jellyfish its not even solid just a squishy bag)
How can rhydon surf at all hes part rock water erodes rock no more rhydon

if pokemon are energy but energy equals mass times the speed of light squared shouldnt everything be energy then its just not fast enough to convert into complete energy at the time and when it slows it becomes matter ( matter or energy cannot be created or destroyed just made into different but equivelent parts) making all previous pokemon are energy statements partialy true and false at the same time

Arceus isnt the god of pokemon and though he is kind of similar to god (in some ways) he is just one that had enough power to create one reigon ( its what dpp say he didnt make world just sinnoh) and most of the pokemon including the legedary dragons

Unngh, are you really going to make me explain this?

Alright. Einstein explained that energy and matter.....wait...WHAT? I just reread you post and it completely confused me.

Einstein said that as an object approached the speed of light, the energy it was using to acheive that speed would no longer apply to acceleration, but would convert itself into matter, increasing the mass of said object. This is because you can't acheive the speed of light. Poke balls are loosely based upon this principle of conversion.

I never understood the fly, surf etc. things myself....

Surfing is just riding a pokemon on the water. Flying is pretty much the same.

But what about cut? Is there some unknown phenomenon that prevents the trees from burning? Are they fire proof?

hmm burnproof trees strange but also the other hms rock climb the rocks seem to be decent size so why cant the trainer climb them
wirlpool just lets you swim through whirlpools not make them
why cant the trainer do anything they just walk around and tells their pokemon to get something done

yes that and more the Trainer cannot swim across a small river, they cannot fight off a lv 2 pidgy, they cannot find a anything on the ground without a dowsing machine or itemfinder, they cannot move around a small tree without someone cutting it down for them

{arceus} proves that scientologists were correct and that christians and everyone else was wrong, therefore means there is no such thing as physics. Wait a minute.

just thought of something from out of the blue

SHOAL CAVE it is a small cave that changes with the tides but no tide is that extreme so to make a whole cave dry in a couple of hours and yet the oceans around it stay at the same level

Yes, and a 10 year old controlling the ruler of time ({dialga}) and keeping it in a small ball or a yellowmouse shooting electricity out of its cheeks are far more plausible....
... out of all the things, this is what you question?
Sorry, not really in the spirit of the thread, is it?

But, yeah, I see your point...

Or a 10-year-old controlling GOD and keeping him in a small ball.

:This might be answered a while back, but I've solved the Water Pokémon problem. It would take an organ which would cause hydrogen and oxygen from the atmosphere and convert them into water.

:Maybe Dialga is just a more powerful version of Celebi. It knows more about how time works. That still doesn't explain why Celebi is an event Pokémon and Dialga isn't. But I have digressed.

To be honest, there's so much in Physics and Biology in the real world that even the top scientists don't understand, but just sweep under the carpet, that some pokemon are more plausible than some real life animals/occurences. Eg. I'm not sure how many of you know this but the LHC in Switzerland is being used to attempt to find a Boson (Force-carrying particle) that will explain Mass for us. This is because no-one has found an explanation for mass that fits with the standard model and can be proven at all.

I always thought a Bosun was the guy who ran the deck crew on a merchant ship. In the Navy, the Bosun (or Botswain, as you can see in the Wikkipedia entry) is also in charge of the deck gang. Bosun's Mate is a rating in the Navy and they work the deck, keep things ship-shape and so on. Unless you were thinking Coxswain - he's the guy who is in charge of a small boat, an example would be the person in charge of a small boat . . . . .

Oh, wait . . . you said bosOn. Well, now that's an entirely different particle all together. Never mind . . .
