okay so in Platinum I tried doing the Pomeg Berry Trick but nothing happened I used the berry when my Staraptor's HP was at 5 and it dropped by two but still normal any help here please

I tried using the Pomeg Berry trick and it worked.

Does your Staraptor have more than 100 EVs in HP? If it does, it should work. If you want to check the amount of EVs, try feeding it a HP Up. If the HP Up works (and if it doesnt have an Effort Ribbon), it has less than 100 EVs in HP.
