A lot of good points have been made in regards to why we don't need a sub-forum, and I'm 100% certain we can still operate just out of the Battle Tower. Still, as I've said to EP, nothing vertured, nothing gained. It certainly cannot hurt to ask (excepting being banned).

I also had a thought the other day when I saw the new Colosseum Forum (or whatever it's called). Maybe we could work it out so we can move in there someday. This is just a thought and I haven't talked to anyone else bout that yet. I know that's the "Trading Center," but it could always be trading and Gym League. Feel free to comment.

I had thought about that too, and I think that it stands a much better chance of going through. I'll present the idea to Krisp myself actually, unless you guys would like to do that.

Theme: Basically, the challenger chooses 6 types. Any six will do, with no repeats. Then we have a 6v6 battle where all 6 types are represented on both teams. If a pokemon has two types that are selected, they can use a pokemon that doesn't have any of the other types. For instance, if the selected types were Water, Fire, Grass, Fighting, Rock, and Bug, a legal team could be made of Blastoise, Magmortar, Bellossom, Machamp, Sudowoodo, and Pinsir, and a legal team could also be Ludicolo, Magcargo, Heracross, Drapion, Flygon, and Jynx. As long as all 6 types are seen at least once, its okay.

Battle Type: Level 100, Singles, 6v6. Standard fare

Primary team: Since the team will largely be determined by the challenger, I don't think I could make a 'primary team', and I don't want to just list a pokemon of every type or something. However, since the style of this gym doesn't necessarily allow for a wildcard, I think this is a reasonable tradeoff.

12 to 6 to 3 to 1 works, maybe decide the one to skip semi-finals by pokemon remaining from the 1st two rounds. (say 6-2 and 6-3 would skip to the finals over the two other players who had 6-5 6-4 and 6-3 6-5.

Also with this it would be preferred if we have a no explosion/destiny bond on last pokemon rule.

I AM in the tourney, no? Seeing as we agreed on a time but you had to change it at the last minute?
