OK question about evasion/accuracy.

At the start of a match, does everyone have the same evasion/accuracy stats? I'm just wondering because it seems that one time I read on here that the higher the speed of a pokemon, the higher its base evasivness is.

Yes, all pokemon have the same accurancy & evasion...also, this --> Accurancy/Evasion is your friend...

Hey I seem to be asking a lot of questions haha...

OK so i was wondering if there was a list of all the pokemon that you can catch on Pearl and/or Diamond. I mean that you can actually catch without trading with anyone or anything. What pokemon are programmed to be obtainable by the game alone.

Ajit, okay first edit your first post don't Double Post as it is frowned upon here...

Anywho, NO is the answer to your question but there is a page on the main site that tells you all the pokemon that are not obtainable ingame...click on the DPP link at the top portion of the page & you will find it somewhere...

Thank you Lawence Codye for your diligence in forum rules, and I do understand the concept of double posting and editing your posts, but honestly, as I review the rules of this forum I strongly disagree with this apparent rule that under no circumstances may you double post...

OK well what if (in my case), you need to ask a question in the Q&A section, but you were the last one to post... What do you propose I do? Wait until someone else feels like asking a question? If I were to just edit my last post, no one would realize that I've asked a question because it won't update.

_____

Secondly, thank you for the answer!

Well to be fair I don't really care about the double posting myself but as far as the other thing, this thread gets heavy enough traffic where you don't have to worry about people not noticing things like edited posts...but I see your point too...

Hello
i have a question about the attack Skill Swap. when you use skill swap and then your opponent faints,
does your ability remain the same or would it change back to your original ability?

I believe when you successfully copy your opponent's ability via the move Skill Swap that that ability that was copied is now your pokemon's ability until it is switch out or the battle ends...

I've got a question:

Let's say for example I taught Giratina Dark Pulse then I choose to forget it later on and made way for another move., Can't the dark pulse be remembered anymore.??

Thnx., :)

Not unless you have another Dark Pulse TM.

Delete the old post, then make a new post containing both the old content and the new.

Hello. I'm not sure if this question was ever asked or not because I don't really have the time to look through all the pages, but how do you get a silcoon in Platinum? I asked a friend of mine and he said he thought it had to be a girl, but it was a girl and it evolved into a cascoon. and I've also tried time, like mostly around noon. But its still evolving into a cascoon. (I save the game before leveling it up where it will evolve)

Is it determined by gender, time (via Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald), or is it just random?

It is determined by the personality value, a number you yourself cannot influence as the trainer. Its assigned to a pokemon as soon as you see it in the game (if caught in the wild).

So in other words, that Wurmple is doomed to never evolve into a Silcoon.

Okay, so I haven't bred pokemon for a certain nature yet, so i was wondering, How would I go about breeding a Rash Houndour, with Hidden Power Grass (or Flying) and Flash Fire?

You're going to want to breed a female Rash Houndour or a Rash Ditto holding an Everstone so that babies have a 50% chance of getting a Rash nature. Getting the right ability is also a 50% chance. So, the chance of getting a Rash Flash Fire Houndour is 25%, with the expected number of eggs 4.

Breeding for Hidden Powers is tricky, because you want to get both the right type and a strong base power. You can try to inherit 3 strong IVs from parents, but ultimately there will be a lot of luck involved. Good luck breeding.

On this link, it says Gallade can learn Leaf Blade at level 1.

Please explain what that means!

Does it mean that as soon as it evolves into Gallade then it will learn Leaf Blade?

1. It can only be found after getting the national dex.

2. It cannot be found in Ruby.

Go to the guy who makes pokemon remember moves. Leaf Blade will be on that list.

I have a question. So if a pokemon has a focus sash and get's hit and survives with the one remaining HP, but then heals itself to regain full HP and use recycle, will it be able to use the focus sash again to survive another hit? (weird question, huh?)

Why don't you try it in a double battle?

I have a less weird question here...why do you think you even would need to ever use the move Recycle in this situation?...& to take a guess at the answer to the question, most likely if & only if the pokemon has Full HP before that other hit happens or else it's no game, sadly you will have to check this yourself as another before me soundly suggested...
