okay well i have yellow version, and this must be my 5-6 time around playing red, and yellow. they have simalr storylines if not the same. so now my goal is to complete the pokedex, i no longer own my red, and ive never owned blue. but thats not my probelm. I've run out of trainers to battle. I mean theres a few here and there in the rock tunnel and mt moon, and im sure i never battled all the rockets. But id like to train, and evolve my pokemon i have allready but i cant.
Is there any other way besides the elite four, and battling wild pokemon where i can battle a trainer?

Sadly, there isn't a way to rechallenge any trainers but the E4. However, your best bet would be to check all of the tunnels in the game. Rock Tunnel, Mt. Moon, Victory Road, those are all the ones I can think.
Obviously, the E4/Wilds are tried and true, and the other caves (Diglett's, Seafoam Islands) don't really have Trainers iirc.
You could do Cinnabar Mansion, but I don't know if you've already beaten them or not. Try the other route to Cinnabar, in the water there will be some...
Otherwise, there isn't an alternative method... Good luck.

Yeah...the undisputed place to train pokemon post Elite 4 would be without question, Cerulean Cave (this is excluding the Elite 4 themselves) as it has the strongest pokemon in the game & as previously stated, there is absolutely no way to rechallenge trainers in this game except the Elite 4...
So again, Good Luck with this...

Well, there is the really ineffective, stupid version of it: Exp. All.
Of course, that only really helps when fighting Pokemon in higher leveled dungeons or the E4...

The Exp. All splits all of the experience from every single Pokemon you face between your entire party. An annoying way that works. Of course, it didn't plan for Lv. 100s, but RBY never did rectify the mistake. But it's really the only way to fight more, and it's really only useful on the E4 because the VERY slight experience that most wilds give you is paltry when you're splitting it up to six ways...
