I wondered if it might have any connection with an event, since otherwise the broken radio would be pretty pointless and there would have been an item ball in there instead.

i got a hold of the celebi and went to the ilex forest and did the event. that cave with the broken radio behind the falls? that IS where giovanni will be in the event, lol. oh. and giovanni is weaker then when he was the eighth gym leader, WTH? O_o

After getting beaten by a kid..plenty of times, then trying to rebuild team rocked..he turned out WEAKER...what on earth...
