Here in the general area of Philadelphia, it's snowing like crazy, and it doesn't look like it's going to stop for a while. If I'd have to give a number, I'd say we have at least a foot. It's been a while since we've had snow like this, so it's all welcomed.
But what I want to know is, what's your feeling on snow? Do you love it? Do you hate it? Any fond memories or anecdotes you'd like to share?
Personally, I've always loved snow since I was a little kid living up in Massachusetts. I'd spend hours on end making snow angels, snowmen, having snowball fights with trees (I grew up in a dull neighborhood). The closing of school was also always welcome. I really didn't care about not being able to go anywhere.
Now that I'm in high school, I really don't play in the snow anymore, but I like having it around. It just reminds me of the winters of Massachusetts, and I can't think of a winter without any snow. Closing schools still nice too.

Trust me, I know about snow, I'm Canadian.
I like the snow, you can build forts, go snowmobiling, and throw snowballs at your teachers, but it hasn't snowed much up here recently, just enough to cover the grass. but like my dad says: "It either has to snow an assload, or not snow at all!"
I remember it snowed so much one year, we climbed up on the roof of my (A-Framed) house, and slid down it. Also, the same year, we built a fort about 4-5 feet tall. We also built snowmen and hit them with the truck.

It's almost Christmas and there isn't an inch of snow on the ground. It's supposed to rain on Christmas. **** life.

This year, anyways.

Same here bro. And your right, it really hasn't snowed that much. Snow is epic! You can throw snowballs, make forts, snowboarding, and if your lucky, bus cancellations and snow days! But none of that will happen if it doesn't snow.

You gotta remember that it's only the first month of winter, so you can't really expect it to snow a lot. It will snow a lot in January and February though.

When I was a kid I liked it, I lived by lake Michigan and we got tons of snow due to the lake effect, so forts, snowdays etc. were lots of fun. Once I got my driver's license it became a royal pain to deal with and have had to have my car pulled out of ditches twice along with spinning out on the interstate once and ended up facing oncoming traffic. Maybe I'll enjoy it again when my daughter is old enough to frolic around in it.

My view on snow? It's the best type of precipitation. Californian weather doesn't allow for much snow, so I'm a bit biased. ;P

Too true! Here in California, snow is very rare. I remember one time, it snowed for the first time in practically two decades. The snow wasn't really that bad, but my parents let me have a day off from school anyways.
