If possible, change Alakazam for Metagross. Other than that it's a great team.

You could put in a {tyranitar}, though I'm not quite sure who to remove from the team. If you're using {alakazam} to KO poison types, then it would be a fair switch, what with ground also being super effective against them.

I strongly disagree. Frenzy plant requires 2 moves for a base damage of 150. Your current sunny day/solarbeam gives you 1 move attacks with a base damage of 120.

Umm, OK, let's see:

{venusaur}

Razor leaf
sleep powder
solarbeam
sunny day

Two grass type moves are unnessary; this moveset is only super effective against three types, while deals half-damage to seven types. What happens if your opponent is a Gloom? Or Magneton? Personally I dislike Sunny Day on grass pokemon because it leaves you vulnerable to a Fire type switch. Some alternatives would be Sludge Bomb, Earthquake or Return. It's up to you though.

{arcanine}

Flamethrower
Extremespeed
Bite
Flame Wheel

Once again, two fire moves is unnessary. Try and get crunch if you can (I can't remember if arcanine learns it or not) and get rid of flame wheel for a support move (Roar, rest...etc)

{vaporeon}

Ice beam
Surf
Water pulse
bite

Remove water pulse for rest or acid armour

{aerodactyl}

aerial ace
double-edge
steel wing
earthquake

Nice.

{gengar}

hypnosis
dream eater
psychic
shadow ball

Not a fan of the hypnosis/dream eater combo because hypnosis isn't very accurate and your pokemon could wake up at anytime. Try Thunderbolt and Toxic instead.

{alakazam}

psychic
calm mind
recover
thunderbolt

Good.

You don't have to take my advice but they're the recommendations I would make...

Arcanine could have a better moveset, like teaching it crunch instead of bite, and fire blast or sunny day instead of flame wheel.

Kay, you really can't obtain a metagross in fire red or leaf green for that matter

But don't change that team, it's pretty wicked.

Maybe a Snorlax could be thrown in there. Meh
