i'd like to know which obtainable legendary set from each generation you liked the most, and if you can, tell me why. i personally like all of them about the same because i own all of the generations including all of the legendaries, they all kick (except for Giritina )

Time and space all the way! And whatever you would call Giratina, reverse of something like that.

I voted 2nd gen, really the only gen were the pokes seemed to be "legendary". 1st gen has you capture a genetic experiment and mew, 3rd gen you captured what seemed to be more like gods and golems. and 4th gen took the "god" pokemon to the extreme allowing you to capture the controllers of space/time and the god of god pokemon.

2nd generation gets my vote, for the same reasons as MasterChef.

Gen 4 > Gen 3 > Gen 2 > Gen 1.
They get cooler as they go along. Who knows, maybe I played GSC one too many times, and Lugio and Ho-oh have worn out their welcome... I dunno.

If i have to put them in order:
GEN 2 > GEN 1 > GEN 4 > GEN 3.
Thats pretty much it.

Due to Articuno alone I'd have to go with the 1st Generation.

Gen two for me. The designs were original and interesting, but they weren't too overpowered or overdone.

Lets just forget the whole Legendary Bird Trio of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Whom when you catch them their PokeDex entries tell their "legends". Mew in itself was a legendary Pokemon in the original game as its PokeDex entry said "So few have seen it, it is claimed to be a mirage." Anyway I went with the first gen because the legendaries were a hell of a lot better back in the day.

To be fair, it's not like he mentioned the Legendary Beasts, Golems or Pixies, either.
ETA: to the post below mine, I haven't voted.

Pokemon veterans will yell at me, but I honestly like the third generation legendaries the best.
The very first Pokemon games I got were Firered and Yellow version. I loved playing through both of them, but the next game I got was Emerald. I love the story and legend that goes with Rayquaza, Kyogre, and Groudon. I guess I may be influenced because I've never played GSC, and I think the DPPt legends were a little overhyped and overpowered. I mean really, we're only into the fourth gen and they've revealed the Pokemon Gods already? In a few generation they'll be introducing Arceus' creator.

My favorite legendary pokemon is Deoxys.
With that said.. I can't seem to vote.

I picked 2nd Gen. because the ideas were more interesting, and more legendary-ish then the 4th Gen. In the Sinnoh games, they aren't legendaries, their Gods, I think there's a difference.

Mewtwo. Simply to the fact he was the star of the best Pokemon movie so far and is the most interesting and original of the legendary beasts. After the second generation they all seem to pretty much carry the same title of "lord of *insert something colossal here*", which is boring and repetitive.
Not Mewtwo, though.
