I was wondering, what are the point of the Lagging Tail and the Iron Ball? I find them completely useless. Why would you WANT to be slower, Or, why would you WANT your flying type pokemon susceptible to ground type moves? The only possible explanation I've found for these, is for a pokemon that knows Fling.

Does anyone out there use these items? Do you use Fling?

But not Iron ball.

Lagging tail is a good trick item, as it can cripple a sweeper while unaffecting the damage done by Gyro ball IE: Bronzong. also works well with payback, metal burst and some Sub+focus punch sets.

Iron ball works well on trick room pokes as well as empowering Gyro ball. It also has some use tricking onto flyers that can then be EQ'd or arena trapped by Dugtrio. Also placing it on a floating poison-type will allow it to absorb toxic spikes. (lol Curse+Gyro ball Weezing, so long as it isn't switched in on EQ.)
